JJCC is back with a brand new song. It has been some time since I reviewed their debut song, At First. Since then, they released a new single titled as Bing Bing Bing. Thinking back, I should have reviewed their 1st comeback single. Just with time constraints in the past year, I was unable to. But now with more time, I should be getting to do more artists, especially the rookie groups or groups that just debuted last year which I have not looked at yet.
This song is pretty good. Not as great as their previous songs, but it still does the job. Not exactly a big fan of the chorus, cause to me, it sounds like they are just yelling into the microphones. And at least they can say “the roof is on fire” without having that infamous Asian lisp. I lvoe the really high pitch parts before the chorus. The vocals overall were pretty good in this song. I don’t remember hearing a rap in this song though. It would be a nice song to hear at a party cause it gets you up and pumping!! Overall nice song.
Not a mega fan of the music video. It looked okay, but it was very boring to watch. It was very colourful, just I don’t really get the whole point of the car mechanic theme to it. The party scenes suit it, just the whole point of the car mechanic inviting his friends to pimp up the car made it seemed really boring. The ending was just so random, how everything was just a dream and it turns out they were a bunch of sleepy boys. I honestly expected more.
The dance was okay. Some people said they copied 2PM for this dance. If that is the case, I believe 2PM copied BTOB’s Peniel then. He did ages ago, before 2PM. And saying that, that move with the arms waving around, I am 100% that has existed for some time and hence is nobody’s dance, as people use that dance everywhere. So to those fans who always say “so and so copied so and so’s dance” tend to have no idea what they are talking about. Well around 80% of the time.
Overall, dance and song were okay. Music video could have been better. 6.1/10
