Welcome back to this week’s Weekly KPOP Chart. Once again, it is going to be a fast one as it is another eventful day before the mad dash to the end of the semester. As you can tell, the number of reviews that I have been publishing lately have dwindled down. This is set to continue over the next few weeks as I prepare for last minute assignments and exams. I will be prioritising new releases while pushing back secondary or special music videos (such as the case for ONEWE, N.Flying etc). Also, I have decided to cancel album reviews for the rest of this week (GOT7’s album review will be published today!) so that I have time to finish my assignments.

Reaching the top of the charts this week is EXID’s Me & You, who will be going on an indefinite hiatus as previously stated in the song’s review and album review (the latter was published this week). A number of new songs made its way into the Top 5 for this week. The first is Kim Jae Hwan’s solo debut, Begin Again, which fell into the second position this week. Last week’s Oh My Girl’s The Fifth Season (SSFWL) dropped down two positions to the third position this week. In fourth and fifth position this week are other new songs from the week. Respectively they are GOT&’s Eclipse and Cherry Bullet’s Really Really.

Hello all, welcome back to this week’s Weekly Chart Post. Unfortunately, this is going to be another quick one as I am quite busy with a bunch of stuff today. I just want to see if you are all well. Keep calm and push forward!

Topping the charts this week is Oh My Girl’s The Fifth Season (I will have the album review up sometime today… hopefully). They rose up one position from last week’s second position. In the second position, this week is Nam Woohyun’s Hold On Me. This feels like an unexpected ranking for me but definitely welcomed. Let’s see how the song goes next week. And now we have a list of new songs making their first mark on the charts. A.C.E’s UNDER COVER, EXID’s Me & You and Weki Meki’s Picky Picky take out the third, fourth and fifth position for this week.

Topping the charts this week is NU’EST latest comeback, Bet Bet. They rose one spot from last week’s second position. In this week’s second position, it is Oh My Girl with The Fifth Season (SSFWL), which is a new release for this week. TWICE’s Fancy dropped down from the top position to the third position this week. The Boyz’s Bloom Bloom and Hold On Me by Nam Woohyun complete this week’s Top 5 songs.

Due to time constraints, I have decided to drop the Tuesday ‘Past Album’ review segment for the month of May. If all works out well, the segment will return on the first week of June.

Topping the charts this week are TWICE, with their latest track, Fancy. Song after song the female group have released have topped the digital charts and it was no doubt that they landed back on the top of my Weekly Charts. Following closely behind is NU’EST’s long-awaited five-member comeback with Bet Bet, which is going to be an interesting contender for next week! I’m So Hot by Momoland returns to the Top 5 this week by sliding right into the third position, while Park Ji Hoon’s L.O.V.E rises back into the fourth position. Last week’s number 1 song was Violeta by IZ*ONE and it dropped down to complete the Top 5 for this week!

It has been a while since we had a jam-packed week with multiple comebacks and a mini Wanna One reunion (which is set to continue into next week). It has been a bit hectic and there are still one or two more reviews to do from the top of my head so I will try to get them done as soon as possible. Topping the charts this week is, once again, IZ*ONE’s Violeta. No surprises there as their song has grown so much on me. Coming in the second position is TWICE’s newest song, Fancy. BTS’s Boy With Luv featuring Halsey makes its first appearance in the Top 5 this week, with hopefully more appearances in the future! DIA drops down to the fourth position this week with Woowa, while TARGET’s Beautiful (another new release this week) rounds out the Top 5 for this week.

Topping the charts this week is IZ*ONE’s Violeta, jumping up a fair 18 positions to take out the top spot. Following behind them is Park Ji Hoon with L.O.V.E. I also wrote an album review for this first solo mini-album, O’Clock, during the week. So check it out! This week’s third place goes to DIA’s Woowa, which was last week’s number 1 song. The fourth position goe for to 1THE9’s debut track, Spotlight, while the fifth position is held by Stray Kids for Miroh.

It is another week and it is another Sunday, which means it is time for a Weekly Chart post. The past week has been relatively quiet in terms with comebacks, with the exception of BTS’s comeback and a single debut. However, I have been busy in the past week and may have missed on a few. Let me know if there any comebacks that I should have reviewed in the past week! And because of the lack of new releases, I have been revisiting many old songs currently on the carts, causing a major shakeup to the rankings this week.

A song that I knew from its release date would top the charts eventually is DIA’s Woowa, which was released 4 weeks ago. Following behind is Stray Kids’ Miroh. The first song to jump a massive number of positions is Focus by Jus2 (GOT7’s latest subunit). Park Bom’s Spring rises once again back into the Top 5, however, not at the same magnitude as Focus. Finally, EVERGLOW’s Bon Bon Chocolat dropped a position, one of the few songs to remain in the Top 30 from last week.

How fast is the year going? We are already in April and Easter is literally around the corner. But before we have the realisation that one quarter of the year as already passed, let’s have a closer look at the Weekly Charts posts for this week!

Knocking Park Bom’s Spring off from the top of the charts is KARD’s Bomb Bomb, which rose a mega 28 places from its 29th position last week. DIA moves up one spot with Woowa to retake the second position, which they previously held two weeks ago, while IZ*ONE’s comeback with Violeta falls into the third position for this week. EVERGLOW’s Bon Bon Chocolat remains steady in the fourth position, while Stray Kids’ Miroh completes this week’s Top 5.

Welcome back to another week of KPOP. Unfortunately, I am a little pressed for time for a few other things going on today so today’s post will be a very quick one!

Topping for the charts for the second week in a row is Park Bom’s Spring. This is also the first song of 2019 to top the charts for then one week, so congratulations to Park Bom and Sandara Park! Mamamoo’s gogobebe rises to the second position and swaps places with DIA’s Woowa. EVERGLOW is proving to be a strong debut with their debut single Bon Bon Chocolat rising to the fourth position. Completing the all-female Top 5 for this week is Momoland’s catchy I’m So Hot (which I am also playing right now as I type this post out).

Hey everybody, another week has passed and it is time to see which song and artist managed to take over the top spot from last week’s chart! This past week was a little hectic for me as my university timetable started to kick in. And because of that, I felt I wouldn’t be able to keep to my current post schedule. So I made a swap between Thursday and Friday, as you can see in the new schedule below. This kicks in starting today.

Now, let’s shift our focus back on the charts (the real reason why we are all here!). Taking the top spot this week is Sunmi’s Noir, rising from the third position from last week. Following them is ONF’s We Must Love, which rose a whopping 15 spots from last week. Jus2 (consisting of GOT7’s JB and Yugyeom) with Focus On Me also rose up one position to take over the third position. The only new song debuting in the top 5 is GWSN’s Pinky Star (Run). Welcome back to the charts for this week, the very first week of March 2019. Can we take a moment to have a small breather of the number of comebacks that occurred this week? It was very concentrated around Monday and the comebacks just kept on coming. If you somehow missed out on the past week, here is just a small recap of who returned and debuted! Key (SHINee), Jang Dong Woo (Infinite), TXT, Sunmi, Jus2 (GOT7’s newest unit), R.Tee & Anda and Ravi (VIXX). And those are the ones that I reviewed only. I am still working on other reviews that will be released in the next few days/weeks.

And with these new releases,  you must wonder what on earth the charts for this week must look like. Well, managing to survive the onslaught of comebacks and debuts this week is Senorita by (G)I-DLE, who topped the charts for this week. The only other artists to make it up to the Top 5 who didn’t come back this week is ITZY’s DALLA DALLA, which managed to clinch onto the 5th position. TXT’s Crown, Sunmi’s Noir and Jus2’s Focus On Me are the new releases that start off their chart journey in the Top 5, placing second, third and fourth respectively.

We have apporached at the end of February. Once again, the year is going quick and I would like it slow down. Just a mini update on my life. I am starting my final year of university starting tomorrow and while it is very exciting, it is really nerve-wracking. (hence if time could slow down, I would be very appreciative hahaha). My usual timetable of posts will continue and I will let you know if anything changes. But today, we are here to find out which artist had the top song for the 4th Week of February 2019.

Enough by SF9 genuinely surprised me by rising 10 places to the top spot of the charts this week. I had expected LOONA’s Butterfly to rise to the top, but they instead remained steady in the second position. (G)I-DLE’s Senorita comeback wows by starting their chart run by placing third this week. Another jammed pack week as gone by and we have reached another Sunday, which means we need to find out which who and what song topped the charts for the second week of February 2019. And we saw a lot of artists return this week including Monsta X, LOONA, Hyomin, SF9, Seven O’Clock, Yoon Ji Sung, along with the debut of TREI. The respective reviews for their comeback tracks can be found on the home page of this blog.

Rising to the top of the charts this week is Dream Catcher’s PIRI, which rose 21 spots to take over the top seat from CLC’s No, which dropped down to the fourth position this week. LOONA’s comeback single, Butterfly, takes the second position, while Hwasa’s Twit remains steady from last week in the third position. Finally, the top 5 is completed with ITZY’s DALLA DALLA. Welcome back to the Weekly Chart segment once again. It is Sunday so you don’t need to wait any longer to see which song and artist took out the top spot on the charts for this week! An album review will be coming out shortly, so keep your eye out for that.

This past week we were overloaded with multiple comebacks and debuts. Taemin, Hwasa, TST, ITZY, Infinite, SATURDAY, Dream Catcher are all on this list and are all on the charts this week. VANNER, while they also debut, fell short of the Top 30 for this week (but I sense we may see them in the Top 30 after I review them this week)!

But let’s have a quick rundown of the charts for this week. A new group has managed to grab onto the first position and that group is no other than CLC, with their track No. ONF follows with their comeback single We Must Love, while Hwasa debuts her new track, Twit, in the third position. Familiar to the Top 5 is SEVENTEEN with their hit Home and ASTRO’s All Night, who both take the fourth and fifth position respectively.
