Welcome back to this past week’s edition of the Weekly KPOP Chart – for the dates 21 May to 27th May 2023. Another quick introduction today. No additional reviews will be published today (as it is quite late into the evening where I am). Instead, I will be taking it easy tonight (as I got the day off tomorrow) to draft some reviews to publish during the week and beyond (I do have another holiday coming up, and I don’t want to leave you without reviews during that week). This week’s throwback song this week is IU’s Celebrity. I know this is a more recent release from IU, being one of the singles released in 2021 from the soloist. But as this is outside of the current Weekly KPOP Chart system, it is featured here instead.
Non-Korean Release of the Week
This week’s non-Korean release of the week is Yesung’s C.h.a.o.s.m.y.th, his pre-release solo single from his newly released first Japanese mini-album. It ranks in the 19th position this week.
