It is another Sunday, so another Weekly KPOP Chart post is here! This comes alongside two album reviews, as I somehow forgot to post the one that was meant for yesterday. So I just decided to post both the Friday (2 days late, was rescheduled for Saturday) and Sunday album reviews, so I can focus on the upcoming PAR and some other standalone reviews that I really need to write up. But until those come out, let’s get to charts.

Rising to the top of the charts this week is ASTRO’s Knock, which was in the third position last week. Also rising to the top, but only into the second position is Good Night by H&D (due to the review I published earlier in the week). Baek Z Young and Ong Seong Woo’s collaboration, Didn’t Say Anything, debuts in the third position. The song that reigned on the top of the charts for the last two weeks, Nonstop by Oh My Girl, dropped to the fourth position. Finally, DAY6’s Zombie debuts in the fifth position this week. The only song leaving the charts this week is Plant by Sejeong (from Gugudan) as it was released 9 weeks ago (the maximum amount of time a song can be placed on the charts).

The 1st Week of May 2020 has just passed. We are literally flying through 2020, with the half year mark just a few weeks away. And I think many people will be glad for the fast speed as we go through this year, given that 2020 has been exceptionally crazy given the well known and unique circumstances we find ourselves in. I hope you are all well and staying safe in the meantime. As it is a Sunday, it is time for the weekly KPOP charts.

Remaining on top of the charts this week is Oh My Girl’s Nonstop (and if I considered non-title tracks, then Dolphin would remain in the top spot as per last week). Behind the group is Taeyeon, who returns with her digital single, Happy. ASTRO also made their comeback this week with Knock, which debuts in the third position this week. IU’s collaboration single with Suga from BTS, Eight, debuts in the fourth position, while Chungha’s first pre-release single, Stay Tonight, rounds out our Top 5 this week. It has been another week and it is time we wrap it up with the Weekly KPOP Chart segment. If you haven’t noticed (and I don’t blame you, all the days are now a blur with this staying at home business), we have entered May and it seems we are about to be thrown in a hectic first half month with countless comebacks confirmed. I haven’t even considered upcoming debuts yet! But before we can move forward with reviewing albums and comebacks, we must push forward with this week’s Weekly KPOP Chart post.

For the fifth week of April, the number 1 song is Oh My Girl’s Nonstop. But if I were to consider side tracks on the chart as well, you would find Oh My Girl’s Dolphin overtaking the charts. But the charts only focus on the main promotional tracks, so let’s switch our focus back on them. In the second position, we have Solar’s Spit It Out. In the third position, we have APRIL’s LALALILALA, which played switcheroo with Solar’s song from last week. Chungha’s Stay Tonight debuts in the fourth position, while NCT Dream’s Ridin’ completes this week’s top 5.

It is another Sunday and time for another Weekly KPOP Chart post. It has been a crazy week of comebacks, with the return of familiar names in the industry. And it seems like the influx of comebacks are just about to begin with big names in the industry return throughout the next week and the month of May. I don’t know how I will keep up to date with the releases but I will try my very best. In the meantime, here is the Weekly KPOP Charts.

Topping the charts for the fourth week of the fourth month of 2020 is GOT7’s Not By The Moon. Following behind GOT7 is APRIL’s LALALILALA, both songs have been playing repeatedly throughout the week. Solar’s solo relaease, Spit It Out, debuts in the third position. The only song that is not brand new in the Top 5 this week is ITZY’s Wannabe, which is a song not unfamilair with the Top 5 section of the charts. Other than that, I hope you are all doing okay under the new and forever changing circumstances that we find ourselves in. Other than posting reviews on here, I have been cooking more and catching up on Netflix and my many books that I have ‘collecting’ on my bookshelf. What new things have you picked up on?

Topping the charts this week is APINK’s newest release, Dumhdurum. It is bit of a title to pronounce at first, but listening to the song on repeat will definitely engrave the pronunciation of the title in your mind. MCND’s Spring rises to the second position. Last week’s top song, Oh My God by (G)I-DLE dropped down the third position. Break Up by Lim Young Min (a member of AB6IX) rose to the fourth position this week. Remaining in the top spot this week is Kang Daniel’s 2U, which also topped the charts last week. The rest of the Top 5 differs from last week. The only other song from last week’s Top 5 that managed to remain in the Top 5 alongside Kang Daniel is ONEUS, with A Song Written Easily. They rose to the second position this week. ITZY’s Wannabe rises into the third position, while Yezi does the same with Home for the fourth position. The final song in this week’s Top 5 is the newly debut TOO with Magnolia. Welcome to the final week of March in 2020. It has been a terrible start to the year with all the events that have been ongoing in the world. Hoping things ease in the next month, so that we can return to our usual lifestyle. I have noticed KPOP releases have reduced considerably in the past few weeks, most likely due to the same events in the world. I do hope that ease comes sooner rather than later, so we can continue to get great music from our favourite artists. In the meantime, let’s look back on the Weekly Charts for the 4th Week of March 2020.

The entire Top 5 this week is made of the new releases from the past week. Landing himself into the very top of the chart is Kang Daniel’s 2U. Following behind him is former and fellow member of Wanna One, Ong Seong Woo with Gravity. Welcome to the Weekly Chart post for the 3rd Week of March. I know I have been promising reviews lately and haven’t been delivering, as I have been fixated on the news a lot lately (we all know why). Rising to the number 1 spot this week is NCT 127 with Kick It. They just missed out of the Top 5 last week, but Kick It was so good that I listened to it many times throughout this past week to get it to the top! ITZY’s Wannabe was a very big contender, but dropped down to the second position. I reviewed 3YE’s Queen and Yezi’s Home this week and they fill in the third and fourth positions respectively, while Sunny Hill’s Adios amor rose from the bottom of the charts last week to this week’s fifth position. Making their latest song debut on the charts is ITZY with Wannabe. Definitely a very catchy song that is definitely deserving to be on the top of the charts. Also making their latest song debut on the charts is VICTON’s Howling and do so in the second position. BTS rises back into the Top 5 and the third position with On. EVERGLOW does so as well with Dun Dun, into the fourth position. And finally IZ*ONE does the exact same with Fiesta, into the fifth position.

Hey everyone. Sorry about this very late post. I was on another break last weekend and could not post it last Sunday as I did not have my personal laptop on me. Unfortunately, I was a bit overwhelmed during the week with personal errands and could not get this post out. Hence, why it is posted today. That being said, I should make this clear. This is not the Weekly Chart post for this week. This was for the week of 1st March 2020 to 7th March 2020. I will post this past week’s Weekly KPOP Chart post later today.

Topping the charts for the 1st Week of March 2020 is KARD’s Red Moon, four weeks after its release. That is a pretty rare feat to rise to the top of the charts that late after its release, but has happened in the past before (Wannabe by Golden Child is the most recent example that I can think of, rising to the top of the charts 8 weeks after its release). Scream by Dream Catcher rises back into the Top 5 into the second position and is followed by Queen by 3YE. MCND’s Ice Age finds itself in the fourth position, while Dr. BeBe by Pentagon completes the top 5 for this week.

Welcome to the Weekly KPOP Chart for the 3rd Week of February 2020. I am still sorting out my schedule, so the album reviews will be out throughout the week. I may need to amend the schedule accordingly, but I shall keep you all in the loop for that. In the meantime, expect me to publish reviews are random times that may not be following the original schedule. With all of that boring stuff out of the way, let’s move along with the charts.

Topping the charts this week is Dream Catcher’s comeback track, Scream. They definitely deserve the top spot with that fantastic electronica/rock mix. Following behind them is Moonbyul with Eclipse. In the third position, it is IZ*ONE’s newest track, Fiesta. In the fourth position, we have last week’s top song, So What by LOONA. And completing the Top 5 this week is BTS with On! Hey everyone, welcome back to a new week on the KPOPREVIEWED blog. You may notice that I am overdue with two album reviews (one was meant to be published on Friday and another today). They are coming, so don’t worry. I won’t have time to post them today due to timing difficulties (I need some sleep!), so I will post them tomorrow. You may notice that I have also yet to post my reviews for Jeon Woong’s Moondance and Moonybul’s Eclipse. They are coming as well and they should be up in the coming days (in addition to new reviews for the upcoming releases this week). Sorry about all these delays, I have a hard time planning during the week and hope to get this fixed during the week. But before we see whether I am successful or not, lets push forward with the charts.

Topping the charts this week is LOONA’s So What, which was expected given their really addictive song. KARD’s Red Moon, The Boyz’s Reveal and Pentagon’s Dr. BeBe take out the second, third and fourth positions this week with their new releases. Welcome to the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 1st Week of February 2020. Unfortunately, I have very little time today. So this post will be a very quick one. I hope that next one will be a little longer. But as I also need to finalize the next album review (will be published tomorrow), let’s move along.

The top song for this week is EVERGLOW’s Dun Dun, which is followed by LOONA’s So What. Both songs are definitely worth checking out, so do so (after you finishing reading this post!). Super Junior’s 2YA2YAO! drops down one position to the third positions this week, while SF9 rises back to the Top 5 this week with Good Guy (fourth position). Welcome to the Weekly KPOP Charts post for the 5th Week of January. Can you believe a month has gone by already? It is going to be another wild year if it goes by even quicker. A lot has happened over the past two days. Namely, the 2019 KPOPREVIEWED Awards winner announcement have been posted and I split the artist-based and song-based categories into separate posts to make the viewing experience a lot easier. With the Lunar New Year officially over, we are seeing more comebacks. Two of the major comebacks this week topped the charts! Without You by Golden Child and 2YA2YAO! by Super Junior make their debut on the charts in the first and second position respectively. VERIVERY rises back into the Top 5 this week into the third position with Lay Back. Levanter by Stray Kids and Psycho by Red Velvet dropped down this week but remained in the Top 5 this week (in the fourth and fifth position, respectively).
