Hello everybody. If you saw my tweet from yesterday, I have officially started my one week break before exams. But due to a few important assignments and exam preparation, I have decided to against publishing album reviews and Japanese song reviews for the next two weeks and I will return shortly after everything is wrapped up I will continue posting these weekly charts and song reviews as normal, so it isn’t massive hiatus like previous years.

For the past few weeks, a number of songs have dominated the Top 5 of the charts. This week, we have a slight changeup with three new songs entering the Top 5. Fromis_9’s new song, Love Bomb, clinched onto the 1st position. Sunmi’s Siren remains in the Top 5 by rising to the second position this week. Following Sunmi is Super Junior’s latest Latin comeback song with REIK, One More Time, and IU’s chart-topping single, BBIBBI. Finally, Oh My Girl finishes up the Top 5 with their single, Remember Me.

I did promise some things last week which I haven’t published yet. I will hold off on them and publish them once I have time (i.e. when the two weeks half-hiatus wraps up). Sorry. But next week, you can expect reviews for VAV, Stray Kids, Nakjoon, Kim Dong Han, Jung Eunji (APINK) and Lee Hong Gi, as they are the confirmed comebacks for next week, so far.

Welcome back to this week’s edition of the weekly charts. I am finishing up university for the year very shortly, so I am quite busy. I will still be trying to put out reviews where possible. Just hoping things don’t too busy.

Regaining the top spot is GOT7’s Lullaby. This means Remember Me by Oh My Girl has dropped down to the second position once again. Dream Catcher’s What has risen to the 3rd position. iKON has made their return to the charts with their fourth-place ranking, with Goodbye Road, while Sunmi’s Siren has dropped down from fourth to fifth this week. Many comebacks this week including Super Junior, IU, Seven O’Clock, NCT 127, Snuper, AlphaBAT, Fromis_9, and Weki Meki this week, so expect some reviews this week! I will also be posting an album review for iKON later tonight and there may be another album review published on Thursday. Welcome back to this week’s edition of the weekly charts. I am a little busy today but will still aim to publish an album review and one more song review to complete the ROOKIE WEEK. For those who don’t know, I spent the last week reviewing a different song from a ‘newly’ debut group (i.e. LUCENTE, NATURE, VERIVERY, NEONPUNCH, ONEWE & ONEWUS) each day, so do check those reviews if you haven’t read them yet!

Topping the charts this week is Oh My Girl’s Remember Me, which was bumped down to the second position last week. GOT7’s Lullaby, which topped the charts this week dropped down to the 3rd position. WJSN (Cosmic Girls) rose to the second position this week with Save Me Save You, while Sunmi’s Siren dropped down to the fourth position. Remaining steady from last week and finishing the top 5 is Dream Catcher’s What.

With ROOKIE WEEK nearing completion, we say hello to a number of new comebacks this week including iKON, Nior, The Rose, Soyou and some others. Keep your eyes peeled for those comebacks and reviews this week!

It has been a very chill week for me this week, with not much happening. WordPress recently brought out a ‘streak’ function, where they record how many consecutive days I have posted. I am currently on 20 (with this post being the 21st day in the row I have posted), so clearly I am motivated to continue going on! So do expect more reviews to come out during the week!

Ranking at the very top of the charts this week is GOT7’s Lullaby, who made their comeback this week. Oh My Girl, Sunmi and NCT Dream, who ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively last week, have all dropped down 1 position, filling up the 2nd, 3rd and 4th position. It is a Sunday, so you all know what time it is!!! Welcome to this week’s Weekly KPOP Charts for the second week of September 2018. It has been a big week with many new releases including Oh My Girl, Pentagon, SHINee, Hoya, DAY6 and Hyomin making their respective comebacks. And if you think that is an action-packed week, big names such as GOT7, WJSN (Cosmic Girls), Dream Catcher and UNI.T will be returning, so keep your eyes peeled for those reviews. On top of that, I have decided to write an album review for Sunmi, NCT Dream, Oh My Girl and Pentagon, so they should be released per usual schedule (or possibly sooner if I can fit it into my schedule).

Taking the top position of the chart this week is Oh My Girl’s latest comeback track, Remember Me. They clearly do not need to worry as I won’t be forgetting the song any time soon. Sunmi’s Siren, which was last week’s Number 1 Song, dropped down one position to the second position. Pentagon’s Naughty Boy also make its first appearance in the Top 5 in the fourth position. We also welcome back We Go Up by NCT Dream, who lands into the third position, while The Boyz’s Right Here rises to finish off the top 5.

As you may see I don’t have a Japanese review out this week as I couldn’t find any new releases. I am still digging around and if you know of any Japanese releases by a Korean artist, feel free to comment below and I will try to review it!

Welcome back to another week’s edition of the Weekly Charts. We enter the month of September this week, with what was a very busy week for me. But as it is Sunday, it is time to see which songs rank where on the charts for this week. It is going to be another quick one, so let’s get going!

Topping the charts this week is Sunmi’s Siren, which was quite an addictive song now that I think about it. Following behind is BTS’ IDOL, which continues to rise towards the top of the charts. Will it clinch onto the top spot next week? We just have to wait until next Sunday to find out. In the third position, SF9’s Now or Never returns back to the top 5 after topping the charts itself a few weeks back. The fourth position goes to 100%’s Heart while finishing off the top 5 is ASTRO’s Always You, which has been on the charts for a number of weeks now (just their first time in the Top 5).

Guess who is back, ready to catch up on the many reviews that were missed out in the last few weeks! We have two new songs making their first appearance this week in the Top 5. Upside Down (by BIGFLO) is this week’s 1st place song, knocking down (G)I-DLE’s HANN from last week (which dropped down to 4th place. IMFACT’s NANANA takes hold of second place, while Between Us (by Laboum) is back in 3rd position. Finally, rounding out the top 5 is Momoland’s BAM, which rose 24 spots from 29 last week.

I just want to inform you that the next few weeks will be a little awkward as I am trying to finish a number of assignments and study for tests. If you scroll down below, we have a brand new song sitting at the top of the charts. SF9’s Now or Never is the chart-topping song of this week and this was expected given how mindblowing the song is. Seventeen continues their run in the top 5, rising back to the second position on the charts. iKON’s Killing Me (the other mindblowing track from last week) lands in the third position. And wrapping up the top 5 is Red Velvet’s Power Up and DIA’s Woo Woo.

Another week has already passed and we find ourselves on a Sunday, so we all know what that means! Welcome back to the Weekly Charts for the 1st Week of August 2018. It is time to see where the songs are ranked on the charts this week. And with a number of new releases that felt me speechless, I am very interested to see where these songs lie on the charts.

Last week’s number 1 song (Oh My! by Seventeen) dropped down by 3 to the 4th position, leaving the top spot for this week vacant for Laboum (with their song Between Us) to rise to the top of the chart for this week! Also rising to the 2nd and 3rd positions are 1,2,3 by Seungri (Big Bang) and I’m So Sick by APINK (who just won’t budge from the top of the charts). Finishing off the top 5 is KARD’s Ride On The Wind.

There were a number of songs jumping up a fair bit. But none of was that impressive when compared to Hyolyn’s jump from 48 to 13 (a total of 35 spots) from last week. For more of the charts, scroll down below!

July has flown right past us as we land ourselves on the chart post of the final week of July 2018. Welcome back and I hope you all had a lovely and fantastic week. I am cold and extremely busy, so let’s get cracking on!

Maintaining the top spot on the charts for the second week in a row is SEVENTEEN’s Oh My!, which is quite addictive as you can tell. TWICE’s Dance The Night Away will not budge from the Top 5 as it rises to the second position. In the thrid position, we find MYTEEN’s She Bad, while Kim Chungha’s Love U rose an incrdible 22 spots to take ouot the fourth position. And finally, filling in the fifith position (and completing the top 5) is UNB’s Black Heart, which I am still enjoying despite it being out for a number of weeks already.

I am still trying to catch up on reviews as there are a number of artists who made their comeback last week that I yet to review. I should have some of the reviews up in the coming day.

ALSO – I will be postponing the ‘Music Video Theory’ posts to the week after their schedule release (I will update this tomorrow) as I am quite busy with many assignments stacking up and job-hunting.
