Welcome to the 4th week of May. Time is going insanely fast and I can’t believe that we are already here. I am hoping that I will be able to catch up on the reviews I have missed, as I have a week off from university before exams kick in.  There are more reviews coming today and a number of album reviews will also be released this week. So prepare yourselves!

It is no surprise that BTS takes over the charts this week, as they top every single chart throughout the world with their latest comeback. Dream Catcher rises one position to take over the second position overall on the charts. Doing an impressive jump is UNI.T’s debut track, No More, while N.Flying also rises to the fourth position. The only new track this week to begin their run in the Top 5 is BOL4’s Travel (Starlight follows right behind in the 6th position).

While UNI.T did jump up 34 spots this week, it wasn’t the biggest jump on the charts. HALO’s OMG managed to climb a whopping 41 spots to 11th place on the charts this week.

Finally, we have a number of comebacks next week including AOA, Pristin V, SHINee and Samuel. I also believe LOONA’s final predebut subunit, LOONA yyxy, is happening this week (and I can confirm they will appear on the charts next week if they manage to enter the top 30).

Since all the TV shows that I follow have ended, I guess I now have more time to type these posts. But before I get onto that, we must go through the weekly charts for the 3rd Week of May 2018 because it just ended and I am trying to avoid studying. Anyway, welcome all to this week’s edition of the weekly charts!

Topping the charts this week is Snuper’s Tulip. Following behind them is (G)I_DLE’s LATATA. Dream Catcher’s latest track, You & I, take out the third position, while Cross Gene’s Touch It finishes in the fourth position. Rounding out the Top 5 is The Boyz’s Giddy Up, which has been on the charts for a number of weeks now.

With Fake Love being the biggest release of the past week, next week is going to get very interesting. Also possibly joining next are The EastLight, Bolbbalgan4 and 24K.

It is the start of another week (and month), so it is time to look at the previous week’s chart! Welcome to the 1st week of May 2018. In the past week, I have published the first part of the LOONA pre-debut reviews, which looked at the first 6 members who were unveiled as part of their pre-debut project. Check back this Wednesday for the second part of the special reviews.

This week, we have Lovelyz’s That Day holding onto the first position, with last week’s number 1 song (Scentist by VIXX) dropping down to the fifth position. Managing to remain steady is IN2IT’s Snapshot, which maintained its second position from last week. GFriend’s Time For The Moon Night and HALO’s O.M.G took out the third and fourth positions respectively.

Just missing out on a position within the top 30 is Wanna One’s Boomerang and The Rose’s Baby. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any impressive (30+) jumps this week, as there have been multiple in the last two weeks!

I really need to figure out a new way to start this post. But welcome to the 4th week of April 2018. And it is Sunday (or Saturday, depending on where you live). So you all know it is time for the weekly charts! Before this gets any cheesier, let’s go forward with the post!

Topping this week’s chart is VIXX’s Scentist, which was released last week. Also released last week is IN2IT’s Snapshot, which I can say now is extremely addictive. Shine by Pentagon has been on the charts for a while but this is their first week in the Top 3 since its release. Last week’s number 1 song (What Is Love? by TWICE) drops down to fourth place, while Eric Nam’s Honestly completes this week’s lineup of the Top 5.

Last week I acknowledge some of the songs that jumped up quite a large amount of positions. We saw the same thing this week with Wanna One’s IPU and BSS’s Just Do It, with both songs jumping over 30 positions to return to the Top 30.  Just missing the mark this week in 31st and 32nd place is Mad Clown & Ailee’s Thirst and Winner’s Everyday respectively.

Welcome back to this week’s edition of the weekly chart, for the 3rd week of April 2018. Boy, time is flying a little too fast for me. Just a quick update on the site. I will try to keep up with the releases but as I get to the ‘business end’ of my semester, things will get a little hectic and I will fall behind. But I will endeavour to do write reviews for the releases to the best of my ability. Anyhow, let’s get on with this week’s chart!

Topping the charts this week is TWICE with What Is Love?. Last week’s number 1 song, Love It Like It by YDPP, dropped down 1 position to the second position. Following YDPP are two songs jumping over 30 positions from last week to be in this week’s Top 5. This includes Blooming Days by EXO-CBX and Love Tint by Hyungseob X Euiwoong. Finishing off the Top 5 is EXID’s Lady who slipped last week but regained their footing this week.

Mentioned above are very large jumps in positions. Including those mentioned above, we also see the collaboration between Lee Hong Ki and Yoo Hwesung jump from positions 43 to 7. Eric Nam’s Potion also jumped 35 spots to the 17th position.

YDDP (made up of Jeong Sewoon, MXM and Lee Gwang Hyun) topped the charts this week, rising 7 places from last week. TWICE managed to book out the second position with What Is Love?, while UNB makes their official debut with Sense in the third position. Last week’s number 1 song, Jealousy (by Monsta X) dropped down to the fourth position, while Boomerang stayed steady in the fifth position.

Welcome to the 1st week of April. Lots to do today, so let’s get cracking with the charts post for this week!

Remaining on the top of the charts for this week is Monsta X’s Jealousy. For the first time ever, I knew (by Wednesday) that Monsta X had managed to claim the top spot for the second week and as the week went on, it was difficult to catch up to Monsta X. Following behind in second place is EXID’s latest single, Lady, while Giddy Up by The Boyz debuted on the charts in the third position. TVXQ’s The Chance of Love and Wanna One’s Boomerang completed the lineup for the Top 5 for this week.

UNB made their debut just yesterday so they will be on the charts starting next week. It was a pity that their music video was delayed because I wanted to write the reviews last night. Joining UNB next week are GreatGuys, Twice, Eric Nam and Super Junior.

It is currently the long weekend Easter break where I live, so I just wanted to start off by wishing you all have a happy Easter break (and a joyful weekend for those who do not celebrate Easter)! Other than that, I present to you all this week’s charts post, for the 4th week of March 2018.

Welcome to the 1st week of March 2018. Yeah, we are already in March. It is quite unsettling at how time goes so fast. And with us entering to March, it seems to be the comeback month as so many artists have already confirmed their comebacks. There is so much happening in the weeks to come that I am already overwhelmed despite being 1/3 of the way into the month.

We see a new chart-topper this week with WJSN’s Dreams Come True. NCT’s run for 2018 is already proving fruitful with Baby Don’t Stop, Boss and Go taking out the 2nd, 3rd and 5th position on the charts this week. Mamamoo is the also another group making their comeback this week and have earned the 4th position with their track, Starry Night.

This is the earliest a Weekly Chart post has been published this year! Can you believe it? University is in full swing but I am not going to let that stop me from posting early or not posting at all! I will be posting normally, so don’t worry! This is the weekly chart post for the 4th and final week of February 2018.

We have a new king on the throne. Rather, NCT U are bosses for this week with their most very addictive track, Boss. Following very closely behind (like really close) is CLC’s Black Dress. Seventeen dropped down to the third position, while new songs this week (NCT U’s Baby Don’t Stop and WJSN’s Dreams Comes True) round out the top 5.

We have a few comebacks from this week that will be making their debut on the charts next week (due to their release date being on Friday and me not getting around to them in time). They include Jooyoung’s Dive and Sungmin’s Day Dream. Also dropping songs next week are Wanna One, MXM, Mamamoo, NCT Dream and a few others.

Taking the top spot for the second week in a row is expectedly SEVENTEEN and their comeback single, Thanks. Sunmi’s Heroine also rosed back into the top 5, taking the second position. Joining the charts this week is CLC and Seventeen with their respective releases. It has been a relatively quiet week with the new comebacks and debuts. Mainly because Lunar New Year is fast upon us.

As we are speaking about Lunar New Year, I will (most likely) not be posting on Thursday or Friday this week due to the celebrations and traditions that I take part in. I don’t think there will be many new releases this week anyway because of the upcoming national holiday in South Korea and the Olympics. So if I don’t see you then, I wish you all a happy Lunar New Year full of health, luck, peace and joy.

Back to the charts, We have a new song on the top, effectively knocking out Sunmi’s Heroine from her hold of the top position after 3 weeks. Jung Sewoon takes out this week’s number 1 spot, while Chungha also rises to take the 2nd position. Seventeen’s Thanks also takes bronze this week, while VAV and Golden Child follow behind in fourth and fifth positions respectively.

January has just flown by and we already are in February. It is a little scary. But don’t worry, it is still going to fun year (like they say – ‘time flies when you are having fun’).
