I have decided that this chart will be the final chart of the year. I realised that I do not have enough time this week to do a whole heap of final reviews, get ready for my trip and do the charts. The charts will be back next year!!!

Welcome to the charts for the second week of November 2016. How you all doing? Finally, I am free for the year. No more exams. Hahaha… I have no idea what to say in this part of the post now. Let’s just move along.

As I predicted last week, Mamamoo came out on top, with VIXX following behind. EXO-CBX kept steady for this week. Lots of new artists made their comebacks this week, as you can see by the (new) signs in the chart table below. I did not include Astro or Kyuhyun in this week charts because their songs were released late in the week and I didn’t get to listening to them until Friday night.

So expect Astro and Kyuhyun next week. IMFACT, MOMOLAND and SHINee will be dropping their releases next week, so do expect them.

Welcome back to this week’s chart! How are you all doing? I have one week off before exams, so I may be pushing out a few more reviews than usual. Depending on how fast I can get the final few notes for my first subject done. I am pushing myself to get cover some of the bigger comebacks this week, so get on top of all of that and then tackle some of the other bands. That’s my plan of the week.

This week the top 3 is claimed by GOT7, Dal Shabet and SHINee. Scroll down to find out who is on top below.

SHINee and SF9 did not appear in the Top 30 last week, made their respective debuts at #31 and #36 respectively. So for this week, I put them down as going up in rank, rather than a newly debut song on the chart.

Next week is busy (per usual). A lot of new songs  have yet to debut (I pushed Davichi’s Beside Me to debut this week because the amount of times I listened to that song in the past few days is ridiculous). Davichi’s other song, Ladies Code, 100%, Henry & Soyu, Crush and others will hopefully be debuting next week.

It has been a long week for me, and once again I apologise for my lack of reviews this week. Most of my time was occupied with assignments, which I am slowly getting on top of. I did manage to churn out one though, which also happens to be this week’s number 1 (scroll down to find out).

I also managed to quickly write up something for my fifth year on this site! You can read it here. I opened up a little bit and like I wrote in that particular post a million times, Thank you so much for the last five years!

The charts was thrown off balance this week. I didn’t listen to songs as much as I wanted to. A lot of songs that were meant to debut this week (SHINee, SF9) failed to because I just did not have enough time to listen to them. They should be on the charts next week! Joining them (depending on if I listen to them or not) also will be BTS, Pentagon and maybe a few more.

Welcome back to another week. Another busy week. I managed to find time last week to do a few reviews, but I hardly doubt I will get a few out this week. I have assignments to complete and hand in this week, notes to catch up on and a test to revise for. University stress.

This week, the competition for the top spot was extremely tight. Number 1 and number 3 differed only by 4 points. Crazy! I honestly did not know who would take out the top spot (until I calculated the scores of course), but the rest of the charts was what I expected. I expected so see some songs rise, while others drop. Dancing King saw the deepest drop this week, but I will leave to witness it (by scrolling down below).

I can already see next week being another tight competition. The current top 5 is currently the five tracks that I listen to consistently every single day (since they were released). But that doesn’t include some songs released later in the last week, namely Dal Shabet. I listened to Dal Shabet more yesterday than any other artist. So, let’s just wait and see.

Welcome to the third week of September. The year is going by so quickly. It is quite scary. I am currently overloaded with so much work, which you could tell from the amount of reviews that have been released. But I have no plans to stop at the moment.

Song Ji Eun topped this week’s chart (below) wth her new song, Bobby Doll. Congratulations to Song Ji Eun. Next week will be a very tough week, so I don’t know if Song Ji Eun can hold onto the top spot. With such big names in the charts below that follow Song Ji Eun’s name and the comebacks of artists such as Crayon Pop, A-Pink, GOT7, JungGiGo and Dal Shabet, who knows if the top 5 will even remain the same as this weeks! Can’t wait for it though. May the best artist win!

Welcome back to the first week of September. It is that time of the year where you ask yourself where the past 8 months have gone, and I have asked myself that question a number of times. I have restarted university, as you could have seen from my lack of reviews this week. Do not worry, I was waiting for the many releases this week: Red Velvet, Gain, Bobby, Mino and MOBB. I will be writing the reviews tomorrow and they should be slowly released starting Monday.

If you scroll down a little further, you will see that Cosmic Girls have edged forward from last week and taken out the top spot from Spica. Interesting. More interestingly is BlackPink is on the rise on my charts. Compared to my reviews, this surprised me a lot. YouTube’s “Up Next” function is doing wonders for the girls because that is where I am getting all these listens from.

Next week’s chart will be very interesting. I can smell it from here. I’ve already mentioned the artists who made their comeback this week, with the majority of them debuting on the charts next week. But 2PM and DIA making their comeback, along with Crayon Pop (which I just found out). Song overload.

Hey guys, how has your week been? My week off has been somewhat relaxing (but still better than the previous weeks). Though it meant catching up with work I should have completed earlier on in the semester and of course, reviews! I am catching up quite nicely. If you have not noticed, I have been publishing reviews every single day for the past week. I’ve already caught up and currently planning to write a few to schedule for the end of the year (more on that when it comes closer).

Spica makes their debut at number 1 this week. A lot of songs tend to debut at number 1. I have noticed. It is just I tend to binge listen to them as soon as they are released. But that way, you can tell is one of my favourite songs of the week. Secret by Cosmic Girl almost rose to first place but missed out in the end.

So I just finished half of my semester this week and have the next week off. That means a lot of catching up with my class work that I have yet to touch. But that also means I have time to start writing reviews. It is going to be one busy week with the need to catch up on reviews that I have assigned myself to do for the last few weeks. But nonetheless, here is the chart for the week between the 14th and 20th of August.

VIXX and Cosmic Girls both took out the first two places this week, dethroning Oh My Girl. Seventeen, despite dropping more than expected last week, have risen once again, so this week will be interesting.

I am actually going to try removing the pink doubled ended arrows from the chart starting next week and see how it goes. They make the chart look boring. I honestly don’t know why I include them. This means I will extend the chart to top 30 for now. It’s only a trial and I shall update you all on it.

EXO released their latest song, Lotto, on Thursday. They did not debut this chart, but will be debuting on next week’s chart. Other artists joining EXO will be Ailee, Laboum, Two X and some other artists.

It has been a busy week for me (yet I still am able to churn out so many reviews during the week). I am drowning in the amount of work that I need to complete. It just keeps piling up and up. Unfortuately, the next two weeks are going to be busy. Hence, there is a slight possiblity that I won’t be able to post next week’s charts next Sunday and might have to push it to Wednesday 24th of August. Reviews, I will try to get them out. Maybe 1 or 2 in the next week. Maybe, if I am lucky, a few more.

I did say VIXX and 24K were to make their comebacks this week. However, I noticed that if I included them in the charts, them debuting on the charts is a) unlikely and b) unfair, since I only had a day or two to include them on it. So, they will make their debut in the upcoming weekly charts.

There has also been a change in rankings this week! Seventeen (who held the top spot for 5 weeks with Very Nice) have moved down the charts, making way for new entries and a new chart topper, Oh My Girl. Oh My Girl previous peaked at the number 1 spot with Windy Day. Congrats Oh My Girl! I honestly did not expect (or make) Seventeen drop down that much. I expected one rank down, but not 5.

And I am back. Sorry about the lack of reviews this week. Been busy with university and HP & Cursed Child came out, so I spent a good deal of my time reading that (and yes, I have finished it).

I predicted Seventeen’s fall on the chart last week. Guess I was wrong. They still hold the top spot. Let’s see what inaccurate predictions I shall make today. Hopefully, the new songs shall rise to the top. They are all so good and are stealing my attention away from the current reigning champions, so I guess it may happen.

Interesting fact: Seventeen’s Pretty U stayed at the top of the charts for 4 weeks in a row. Currently, Seventeen’s Very Nice has stayed at no. 1 for 5 weeks. Let’s see with they can make the sixth week and prove me wrong.

Also looking forward to next week. Girl’s Generation and UP10TION have made their comeback at the end of last week, so they will officially (if they actually do) debut on the chart next week. Monsta X, B.A.P, I.O.I, BTOB, BlackPink, Jun.K, VIXX, 24K and probably a few more artists will be making their comeback next week. Sounds like I will be having my earphones in all week. Hahaha…

Welcome back to this week’s Weekly KPOP Chart. If you noticed from last week’s chart, I was in a very big rush to get it out last Sunday, so I ended up copying the text from the week before. Hahaha… I will try to not do that anymore. For this week, I ended this week’s chart 2 hours earlier and am writing all of this before I go to sleep (currently writing this on a Saturday. A little occupied tomorrow). Oh and reviews will continue (at a reasonable snail pace), so don’t worry.

I want to take a minute to discuss a few things.

• First of all, how you all like these weekly charts? I enjoy doing them (despite them taking a good chunk of my time), but I wonder if you guys like them.
• Another thing is Sonamoo’s debut on the chart (below). Sonamoo is in their 3rd week of charts already but just debuted. This is going to happen a bit. I would naturally overlook a few songs and then it will come back and haunt me. Exactly what happened here and I just fell in love with this song.
• The gap between first place and second place has been big these past weeks. However, the gap has become smaller. To the point, where GFriend was extremely close to taking out first place this week. My prediction is that first place will change next week. With who, I don’t know. Any of the top 3 this week could have taken it out.
