Before we step into the next week, we must find out who topped the charts for the 2nd Week of April. Welcome to this week’s edition of the weekly chart. Unfortunately, last week was a little hectic for me. So I wasn’t posting any reviews. After this chart post, I will be working on a few more reviews to be released today and tomorrow. So let’s get going.

YDDP (made up of Jeong Sewoon, MXM and Lee Gwang Hyun) topped the charts this week, rising 7 places from last week. TWICE managed to book out the second position with What Is Love?, while UNB makes their official debut with Sense in the third position. Last week’s number 1 song, Jealousy (by Monsta X) dropped down to the fourth position, while Boomerang stayed steady in the fifth position.

Welcome to the 1st week of April. Lots to do today, so let’s get cracking with the charts post for this week!

Remaining on the top of the charts for this week is Monsta X’s Jealousy. For the first time ever, I knew (by Wednesday) that Monsta X had managed to claim the top spot for the second week and as the week went on, it was difficult to catch up to Monsta X. Following behind in second place is EXID’s latest single, Lady, while Giddy Up by The Boyz debuted on the charts in the third position. TVXQ’s The Chance of Love and Wanna One’s Boomerang completed the lineup for the Top 5 for this week.

UNB made their debut just yesterday so they will be on the charts starting next week. It was a pity that their music video was delayed because I wanted to write the reviews last night. Joining UNB next week are GreatGuys, Twice, Eric Nam and Super Junior.

It is currently the long weekend Easter break where I live, so I just wanted to start off by wishing you all have a happy Easter break (and a joyful weekend for those who do not celebrate Easter)! Other than that, I present to you all this week’s charts post, for the 4th week of March 2018.

Here is a quick summary of the top 5 of the charts. Taking out the number 1 spot on the charts this week is Monsta X’s latest comeback, Jealousy. Stray Kid’s District 9 also managed to book out the 2nd position for this week. Last week’s number 1 song (Look by GOT7) dropped down to the 3rd position, while BSS’s Just Do It managed to keep its foot on the 4th position. Finishing out the top 5 is Mamamoo’s Starry Night.

I am excited for next week, mainly due to the many comebacks that have been confirmed. This includes EXID, Winner, Oh My Girl, Pentagon, The Boyz and the upcoming debut of UNB. With the artists already on the charts, it is going to be one fun week!

Welcome to the 1st week of March 2018. Yeah, we are already in March. It is quite unsettling at how time goes so fast. And with us entering to March, it seems to be the comeback month as so many artists have already confirmed their comebacks. There is so much happening in the weeks to come that I am already overwhelmed despite being 1/3 of the way into the month.

We see a new chart-topper this week with WJSN’s Dreams Come True. NCT’s run for 2018 is already proving fruitful with Baby Don’t Stop, Boss and Go taking out the 2nd, 3rd and 5th position on the charts this week. Mamamoo is the also another group making their comeback this week and have earned the 4th position with their track, Starry Night.

This is the earliest a Weekly Chart post has been published this year! Can you believe it? University is in full swing but I am not going to let that stop me from posting early or not posting at all! We have a new king on the throne. Rather, NCT U are bosses for this week with their most very addictive track, Boss. Following very closely behind (like really close) is CLC’s Black Dress. Seventeen dropped down to the third position, while new songs this week (NCT U’s Baby Don’t Stop and WJSN’s Dreams Comes True) round out the top 5.

We have a few comebacks from this week that will be making their debut on the charts next week (due to their release date being on Friday and me not getting around to them in time). Mainly because Lunar New Year is fast upon us.

As we are speaking about Lunar New Year, I will (most likely) not be posting on Thursday or Friday this week due to the celebrations and traditions that I take part in. I don’t think there will be many new releases this week anyway because of the upcoming national holiday in South Korea and the Olympics. So if I don’t see you then, I wish you all a happy Lunar New Year full of health, luck, peace and joy.

Back to the charts, We have a new song on the top, effectively knocking out Sunmi’s Heroine from her hold of the top position after 3 weeks. Jung Sewoon takes out this week’s number 1 spot, while Chungha also rises to take the 2nd position. January has just flown by and we already are in February. It is a little scary. But don’t worry, it is still going to fun year (like they say – ‘time flies when you are having fun’). Welcome to the Weekly Chart posting for the 5th week of January 2018. Joining us on the charts today is VAV, Suzy, Rainz, Red Velvet, Gugudan and the Queen of KPOP herself, BoA.

But there is another Queen reigning on the charts and she isn’t moving from the top spot anytime soon. I am referring to Sunmi and her hit, Heroine. Following closely behind is VAV with Spotlight and iKON’s Love Scenario, which debuted on the charts last week. Infinite is staying within the top 5 for another week in the fourth place with Tell Me, while To Heart by Fromis_9 finishes of the top 5 for this week.

I was quite busy last week so there were no album reviews published. This week, however, to make up for this absence will be 3 different album reviews for you all. I am also hoping to get some other posts, reviews and artist profiles (see the menu above) out next week as well. Lots to do.

It is the fourth week of January 2018 and here is this week’s instalment of the Weekly Charts. Apologises for the lateness once again. It is extremely humid and hot where I live at the moment. And writing up anything in the afternoon was just not possible due to the heat. But since it has cooled down (ever so slightly) and the air conditioner is on full blast, I think it is now possible to write up the post.

Once again, topping the charts is Sunmi with her latest single, Heroine. Rising to the second position is Kim Chungha and her song, Roller Coaster. Entering the charts this week is Sunmi, Kim Chungha, JBJ, The East Light, Dream Catcher and Jang Wooyoung.

Taking out the top spot for the 3rd Week of January is Sunmi’s recent release, Heroine. Such a good song. Rising to the top as well and securing the 2nd position is Oh My Girl and Secret Garden. Last week’s number 1 song, Boom Boom by Momoland, dropped to the third position, while Infinite’s Tell Me dropped down two positions as well to the 4th position. Finishing off the top 5 is Kim Chungha’s Roller Coaster.

Once again, I am late for this post. Aim for 3PM but posting way after that time, very typical of me. This is the charts for the second week of January 2018. Debuting on the charts this week is Infinite, Oh My Girl, Wooyung (2PM)’s pre-release, MXM and Block B.

Rising to the top is Momoland’s Boom Boom, which earned the group their very first win on MCountDown in the past week! Infinite debuts with Tell Me on the charts in the second position while Kriesha Chu rosed from the bottom of the charts to 3rd position. Last week’s number 1 song, Paint Me by Mamamoo, dropped slightly to 4th position, while Oh My Girl rounds out the top 5 with Secret Garden.
