Welcome to the second half of the year and the latest edition of the Weekly KPOP Chart. I was incredibly busy today hence why this chart is out a little later than usual. But at least I have managed to fit it in today! Let’s get on with the show before I bore you anymore!

Last week I posted a recap of the top songs from this segment (Weekly KPOP Charts), which you can view by clicking here. This week, I will be doing a more personalised list of my favourite songs and this will be released on Wednesday!

Topping the charts this week is APINK’s latest comeback, I’m So Sick. DAY6’s Shoot Me (last week’s Number 1 song) dropped down to the second position. Lovelyz’s Wag-Zak has started out on the third position, while Momoland’s BAAM has dropped to the fourth position. Finishing the top 5 is SHINee’s Our Page, which has dropped down one position.

Per usual, scroll down for the rest of the chart!

Songs leaving the charts this week are:

• Seoul Night – Teen Top
• Touch It – Cross Gene
• Light It Up – SPECTRUM
• Go Away – Junhyung (HIGHLIGHT)
• Give It To Me – VAV
• You And I – Dream Catcher
• My Star – K.Will
• Where Are You From? – Favorite

Thank you once again and have a good week!

With June officially over as of today, we have officially reached the half mark of 2018. It has been an awesome 6 months in the Korean Pop industry with a lot of exciting comebacks and promising debuts. And it guarantee that this will continue onwards. But before we move forward, let’s have a recap of the songs for the final week of June 2018.

An entirely new top 5, made of new releases, have taken over the charts, with all songs in the Top 5 last week dropping by different amounts. Topping the charts this week is DAY6’s Shoot Me. Following behind is Momoland’s BAAM, NU’EST W’s Déjà Vu, SHINee’s Our Page and UNB’s Black Heart. For more of the charts, scroll down below as usual.

The final week of June also marks another year of the Weekly Charts. So as per last year, I will be writing a special post that recaps the song that reached the top of the charts each week in the past year. I did something similar last year in celebration for a year’s worth of charts, which you can access here!

Songs leaving the charts this week are:

• Time For The Moon Night – GFriend
• O.M.G – HALO
• Angel – IZ
• LATATA – (GI)-DLE
• Singularity – V (BTS) [Leaving Early]
• I’m Your Girl – KHAN [Leaving Early]
• Love Story – TST [Leaving Early]
• For – C.A.P (Teen Top) [Leaving Early]
• Sunshower – Boyfriend [Leaving Early]

Thank you once again and have a great week!

So earlier this week I started my holidays. While that should mean I am working on this site a lot more, I kind of took the week off and tuning for some reviews. I am super tired after that stressful exam period and kind of worried for the upcoming semester. However, after some rest, I am ready to pump out reviews especially for next week with so many anticipated comebacks including NU’EST W, SHINee, DAY6, Momoland, ELRIS and UNB.

For this week, we see BTOB’s latest comeback, Only One For Me, top the charts this week, ending the 3 weeks consecutive run of AOA’s Bingle Bangle (which feel to the fifth position this week). Remaining steady from last week is ONF’s Complete and A.C.E’s Take Me Higher, while SHINee’s I Want You rises to the fourth position. For the rest of the charts, scroll down below.

Songs leaving the charts this week are:

• That Day – Lovelyz
• Tulips – Snuper
• Dally – Hyolyn
• The Only Star – Hwang Chi Yeol
• Mirror – Stray Kids
• Crazy Going Crazy – Berry Good Heart Heart

So once again, thank you for reading this week’s chart. Hope to see you all again during the week for the upcoming reviews!

Welcome to the second week of June 2018. Just a very quick update that I have one more exam left before I am on my break. Once the exam is finished up, I will be doing a lot of posting on this site, so prepare yourselves for that. On top of that, it is rather cold and wet where I live at the moment, so I don’t think I will be venturing out anytime soon, meaning more time on the computer and the site!

Still on top of the charts for the 3rd week straight is Bingle Bangle (by AOA). Also remaining steady in fourth and fifth position from last week is Lady by Yubin and DKDK by Fromis_9, respectively. Only the second and third position changed from last week with Complete by ONF and Take Me Higher by A.C.E rising from their respective positions last week. For more of the charts, you can scroll down below!

BTOB and Taeyeon (SNSD) will be making their comeback next week so you may expect them to be on the charts next week.

Songs leaving the charts this week (and will not be appearing on the charts starting next week) are:

• Baby – The Rose
• The Light – IMFACT
• Scentist – VIXX
• Call Your Name – JBJ
• Easy – Wheein (Mamamoo)
• Snapshot – IN2IT

Thanks for the great week and hope to see you next week!

Can anyone believe we have already reached June? It is insane how fast time is going by. Welcome to this week’s chart post for the 1st Week of June 2018. I just wanted to start off by apologising for an error in last week’s chart. 30th position for last week was, in fact, Call Your Name by JBJ (I had incorrectly typed in YDPP’s song twice). I only noticed last night and I have updated the charts, which you can check out here.

Maintaining the top spot from last week is Bingle Bangle by AOA. Also remaining steady from last week is SHINee’s Good Evening (in the 3rd position). The rest of the top 5 are new entries for this week. Wanna One’s Light takes out the second position, Lady by Yubin takes out the 4th position and DKDK by Fromis_9 takes out the 5th position.

While there are no massive jumps this week, a number of songs remained steady from last week. In addition to AOA and SHINee in the top 5, PRISTIN V and HALO remained steady with their respective songs. This is pretty much a rare thing to occur.

Next week we hope to see SHINee’s second title track on the charts. Also possibly making their appearance next week is BTOB’s pre-release single and BLACKPINK!!!

For more of the charts, scroll down below!

Songs leaving the charts this week (and will not appear on the charts starting next week) are:

• Sense – UNB
• Only One – UNB
• What Is Love? – TWICE
• Blooming Days – EXO_CBX
• Love Tint – Hyeongseop x Euiwoong
• Honestly – Eric Nam
• Potion – Eric Nam ft. Woodie Gochild
• Still Love You – Lee Hong Ki (FT Island) & Yoo Hwesung (N.Flying)
• Lo Siento – Super Junior ft. Leslie Grace
• When Spring Comes – Yu Seon Ho
• Thirsty – Mad Clown & Ailee
• Gangsta – NOIR

Thank you once again and hope to see you all back next week.

Apologies for the featured image for last week’s chart post. I posted the wrong one and only noticed when I started to write out this one. Don’t know how I managed to get it so wrong. But anyway, introducing the actual 5th week of May. I was genuinely surprised how many new releases I had to put on the charts this week, especially since I only identified a few, last week.

Topping the charts this week is AOA’s latest title track, Bingle Bangle. It basically dominated the chart this week, knocking BTS’ Fake Love down to the second position. Also making its debut on the charts this week is SHINee’s Good Evening in the third position, while VICTON’s Time Of Sorrow is growing on me, rising up to the fourth. Completing the top 5 is BOL4’s Travel, which remained steady.

One song managed to an enormous jump on the charts. Rising from the bottom to position 9 (i.e. 49 spots) is Love Flutters by The East Light. As it feels awkward to just end this paragraph here, GFriend and Teen Top just missed on spots within the Top 30.

For more of the charts, scroll down below!

Songs leaving the chart this week are:

• Lady – EXID
• Banana Allergy Monkey – Oh My Girl Banhana
• Shine – Pentagon
• Giddy Up – The Boyz
• Everyday – Winner
• Love It Like It – YDPP
• New World – Ten (NCT)

Thank you for tuning in this week and hope to see you back next week!

Welcome to the 4th week of May. Time is going insanely fast and I can’t believe that we are already here. I am hoping that I will be able to catch up on the reviews I have missed, as I have a week off from university before exams kick in.  There are more reviews coming today and a number of album reviews will also be released this week. So prepare yourselves!

It is no surprise that BTS takes over the charts this week, as they top every single chart throughout the world with their latest comeback. Dream Catcher rises one position to take over the second position overall on the charts. Doing an impressive jump is UNI.T’s debut track, No More, while N.Flying also rises to the fourth position. The only new track this week to begin their run in the Top 5 is BOL4’s Travel (Starlight follows right behind in the 6th position).

While UNI.T did jump up 34 spots this week, it wasn’t the biggest jump on the charts. HALO’s OMG managed to climb a whopping 41 spots to 11th place on the charts this week.

Finally, we have a number of comebacks next week including AOA, Pristin V, SHINee and Samuel. I also believe LOONA’s final predebut subunit, LOONA yyxy, is happening this week (and I can confirm they will appear on the charts next week if they manage to enter the top 30).

Songs leaving the chart this week are:

• Jealousy – Monsta X
• District 9 – Stray Kids
• The Chance Of Love – TVXQ
• All Eyes On Me – Hoya
• One – Samuel ft. Jung Ilhoon (BTOB)

Thank you once again and I hope to see you all next week!

Since all the TV shows that I follow have ended, I guess I now have more time to type these posts. But before I get onto that, we must go through the weekly charts for the 3rd Week of May 2018 because it just ended and I am trying to avoid studying. Anyway, welcome all to this week’s edition of the weekly charts!

Topping the charts this week is Snuper’s Tulip. Following behind them is (G)I_DLE’s LATATA. Dream Catcher’s latest track, You & I, take out the third position, while Cross Gene’s Touch It finishes in the fourth position. Rounding out the Top 5 is The Boyz’s Giddy Up, which has been on the charts for a number of weeks now.

With Fake Love being the biggest release of the past week, next week is going to get very interesting. Also possibly joining next are The EastLight, Bolbbalgan4 and 24K.

But before we get to next week, have a scroll through this week’s chart.

Leaving the charts this week (and hence won’t be appearing on it next week) are:

• Boomerang – Wanna On
• Just Do It – BSS (Seventeen)
• Bibidi Babidi Boo – Honey Popcorn
• Sudden Shower – Junhyung (HIGHLIGHT) ft. 10CM

Thank you all reading this post and I will see you next week!

It is the start of another week (and month), so it is time to look at the previous week’s chart! Welcome to the 1st week of May 2018. In the past week, I have published the first part of the LOONA pre-debut reviews, which looked at the first 6 members who were unveiled as part of their pre-debut project. Check back this Wednesday for the second part of the special reviews.

This week, we have Lovelyz’s That Day holding onto the first position, with last week’s number 1 song (Scentist by VIXX) dropping down to the fifth position. Managing to remain steady is IN2IT’s Snapshot, which maintained its second position from last week. GFriend’s Time For The Moon Night and HALO’s O.M.G took out the third and fourth positions respectively.

Just missing out on a position within the top 30 is Wanna One’s Boomerang and The Rose’s Baby. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any impressive (30+) jumps this week, as there have been multiple in the last two weeks!

Leaving the charts this week (and will not be appearing on the charts starting next week) are:

• Gone Cold – MXM
• I.P.U – Wanna One
• Go – NCT Dream
• Rubber Band – iKON
• Starry Night – Mamamoo
• She’s Gone – Jung Ilhoon (BTOB)

Thank you once again and hope to see you next week!

I really need to figure out a new way to start this post. But welcome to the 4th week of April 2018. And it is Sunday (or Saturday, depending on where you live). So you all know it is time for the weekly charts! Before this gets any cheesier, let’s go forward with the post!

Topping this week’s chart is VIXX’s Scentist, which was released last week. Also released last week is IN2IT’s Snapshot, which I can say now is extremely addictive. Shine by Pentagon has been on the charts for a while but this is their first week in the Top 3 since its release. Last week’s number 1 song (What Is Love? by TWICE) drops down to fourth place, while Eric Nam’s Honestly completes this week’s lineup of the Top 5.

Last week I acknowledge some of the songs that jumped up quite a large amount of positions. We saw the same thing this week with Wanna One’s IPU and BSS’s Just Do It, with both songs jumping over 30 positions to return to the Top 30.  Just missing the mark this week in 31st and 32nd place is Mad Clown & Ailee’s Thirst and Winner’s Everyday respectively.

For more of the charts, scroll down below.

Songs leaving the chart this week and will not appear on the charts starting next are:

• True Love – Kim Sung Kyu (Infinite)
• Mamma Mia – SF9
• Dreams Come True – WJSN (Cosmic Girls)
• Baby Don’t Stop – NCT U
• One and Only You – GOT7 ft. Hyolyn
• So Do You – Seo Eun Kwang (BTOB) & N.CA

Hope you all have another fantastic week!

Welcome back to this week’s edition of the weekly chart, for the 3rd week of April 2018. Boy, time is flying a little too fast for me. Just a quick update on the site. I will try to keep up with the releases but as I get to the ‘business end’ of my semester, things will get a little hectic and I will fall behind. But I will endeavour to do write reviews for the releases to the best of my ability. Anyhow, let’s get on with this week’s chart!

Topping the charts this week is TWICE with What Is Love?. Last week’s number 1 song, Love It Like It by YDPP, dropped down 1 position to the second position. Following YDPP are two songs jumping over 30 positions from last week to be in this week’s Top 5. This includes Blooming Days by EXO-CBX and Love Tint by Hyungseob X Euiwoong. Finishing off the Top 5 is EXID’s Lady who slipped last week but regained their footing this week.

Mentioned above are very large jumps in positions. Including those mentioned above, we also see the collaboration between Lee Hong Ki and Yoo Hwesung jump from positions 43 to 7. Eric Nam’s Potion also jumped 35 spots to the 17th position.

For more of the charts, scroll down below!

The songs leaving the charts this week (and will not appear on the charts starting next week) are:

• Spotlight – X:TIME
• Where Am I Gone – Yang Yoseob (HIGHLIGHT)
• Boss – NCT U
• One Shot Two Shot – BoA
• La La La – Weki Meki
• Star – VROMANCE
• Black Dress – CLC

Check back next Sunday for the next week’s chart!

Before we step into the next week, we must find out who topped the charts for the 2nd Week of April. Welcome to this week’s edition of the weekly chart. Unfortunately, last week was a little hectic for me. So I wasn’t posting any reviews. After this chart post, I will be working on a few more reviews to be released today and tomorrow. So let’s get going.

YDDP (made up of Jeong Sewoon, MXM and Lee Gwang Hyun) topped the charts this week, rising 7 places from last week. TWICE managed to book out the second position with What Is Love?, while UNB makes their official debut with Sense in the third position. Last week’s number 1 song, Jealousy (by Monsta X) dropped down to the fourth position, while Boomerang stayed steady in the fifth position.

For more of the charts, scroll down below.

The following songs will be removed from the charts and will not appear on the charts starting next week:

• Star – Yang Yoseob (HIGHLIGHT)
• Gorgeous – VAV
• Only Then – Roy Kim
• Can I See You Again – Miryo (Brown Eyed Girls)
• Daydream – Sungmin (Super Junior) [Leaving Early]
• Dive – Jooyoung [Leaving Early]
• Do You Have A Moment? – Suho (EXO) & Jang Jane [Leaving Early]

Hope to see you all again next week!

Welcome to the 1st week of April. Lots to do today, so let’s get cracking with the charts post for this week!

Remaining on the top of the charts for this week is Monsta X’s Jealousy. For the first time ever, I knew (by Wednesday) that Monsta X had managed to claim the top spot for the second week and as the week went on, it was difficult to catch up to Monsta X. Following behind in second place is EXID’s latest single, Lady, while Giddy Up by The Boyz debuted on the charts in the third position. TVXQ’s The Chance of Love and Wanna One’s Boomerang completed the lineup for the Top 5 for this week.

UNB made their debut just yesterday so they will be on the charts starting next week. It was a pity that their music video was delayed because I wanted to write the reviews last night. Joining UNB next week are GreatGuys, Twice, Eric Nam and Super Junior.

As normal, feel free to check out the rest of the charts by scrolling down below.

Songs leaving the charts this week and will not be reappearing start next week are:

• Don’t Be Pretty – 14U
• To The Sky – CLC
• Thanks – Seventeen

Hope to see you all next week!

It is currently the long weekend Easter break where I live, so I just wanted to start off by wishing you all have a happy Easter break (and a joyful weekend for those who do not celebrate Easter)! Other than that, I present to you all this week’s charts post, for the 4th week of March 2018.

Here is a quick summary of the top 5 of the charts. Taking out the number 1 spot on the charts this week is Monsta X’s latest comeback, Jealousy. Stray Kid’s District 9 also managed to book out the 2nd position for this week. Last week’s number 1 song (Look by GOT7) dropped down to the 3rd position, while BSS’s Just Do It managed to keep its foot on the 4th position. Finishing out the top 5 is Mamamoo’s Starry Night.

I am excited for next week, mainly due to the many comebacks that have been confirmed. This includes EXID, Winner, Oh My Girl, Pentagon, The Boyz and the upcoming debut of UNB. With the artists already on the charts, it is going to be one fun week!

For the rest of the charts, scroll down below.

• Spotlight – VAV
• Bad Boy – Red Velvet
• Holiday – Suzy
• It’s U – Golden Child
• The Boots – Gugudan
• NEGA DOLA – BoA

So once again, I hope to see you again next Sunday and wish you all have a fantastic week!
