Welcome to back to this week’s edition of the Weekly Charts. Christmas season is in full swing and I partook in present shopping this year, which is a first for me. I know, how adult of me. Just an interesting fact that I wanted to share.

DAY6’s final monthly release, I Like You, took out this week’s top position on the chart, while KARD rose back to take out the second position. Charm of Life (a collaboration between Super Junior and Mamamoo), Hands Up (by B.A.P) and Heart Shaker (by TWICE) took out 3rd – 5th position this week, completing the top 5.

The comebacks are becoming a little scarce as we are reaching the final stages of the year. Mainly Christmas releases will be dominating. As far as confirmed releases go, only EXO is confirmed (as far as I am aware).

Just a heads up, this will be the final Weekly Chart to be released on a Sunday. This is because I will be taking a few days off during the Christmas period for a family trip and will not be able to post the charts on Sunday. I am hoping to get it posted on Wednesday 27th. As for the new year’s weekend, the chart will be posted on the 2nd of January 2018 (the first Tuesday of the year).

We are fast approaching the end of the year as we enter into December. In a few weeks time, we are celebrating how 2017 has been and how we hope for the new year to be. Naturally, that also extends to KPOP as well. And to celebrate 2017, I have opened the survey to the 2017 KPOPREVIEWED AWARDS, which you can vote for your favourites by clicking the link here!

This week, Hyuna’s return successfully took out the top spot on the charts with her latest comeback, Lip & Hip. Red Velvet remained steady with Peek-A-Boo, while SEVENTEEN’s Clap returned to complete the Top 3. KARD and Lovelyz both finish off the top 5 for this week.

There will a couple of comebacks for the upcoming week which I am sure will get many of you excited. TWICE, Taeyeon, B.A.P, Soyu and Uhm Jung Hwa will return and it is likely you will see all them on the charts start next week!

Extremely big week in KPOP this week with the award season starting with a bang with MAMA and MelOn. Extremely big congratulations to everyone who won and were nominated. Talking about award seasons, get ready for some big news this week. More information will be provided once I finish all the preparations, so be prepared!!

Last week’s top 3 remained in the top 3 positions, with some shuffling involved. KARD eventually claimed the top spot, with You In Me, their 3rd Number 1 song this year. Both Red Velvet and EXID dropped down one position this week, taking out second and third positions respectively. Steady artists SEVENTEEN and Astro rose to the 4th and 5th spots this week.

Hyuna and DAY6 will be having their comeback next week, while The Boyz will be making their debut. GOT7 will be releasing another version of their 7 for 7 album but I am unsure whether there will be new tracks featured on the re-release.

Welcome to the 3rd Week of November, where we are officially one week closer to the start of 2018. To know the year has gone by so fast, it is kind of scary. No major updates this week. More album reviews will be released and hopefully, I try to get some other reviews out.

Both EXID and SEVENTEEN maintain their positions from last week (1st and 2nd positions respectively). Wanna One’s repacked album title track, Beautiful, debuts at 3rd positions. Also maintaining the 4th position from last week is Super Junior’s Black Suit, while DAY6’s All Alone rose to complete the top 5.

The number of comebacks this week really managed to push me to my limits, particularly since I had my final exam this week. But I managed to cover most of the major releases this week. Coming out on top with their recent release is EXID with their hella catchy DDD (which I listen to right at this moment). Seventeen followed closely behind with Clap, while Sonamoo’s I (knew it) ranked 3rd this week. Rounding out the top 5 is Super Junior’s Black Suit and TWICE’s Likey (the only song from last week to remain in the top 5).

Next week seems to be a quiet week, which I am grateful given the past week. Wanna One, Lovelyz, Fly To The Sky, Samuel and Red Velvet will be making their respective comebacks this week.

Welcome to another quick Weekly Charts post. I have another exam this week, so I am a little busy with the studying. Don’t worry though. I will still be putting out reviews this week as there are so many comebacks. If I were to wait for the weekend, I probably need an entire week to catch up on them.

We have a new chart-topper with JBJ’s Fantasy managing to steal the number 1 spot on this week’s chart from TWICE (Likey) and GOT7 (You Are). Following closely behind is ASTRO with Crazy Sexy Cool and Super Junior’s pre-release, One More Chance.

Welcome to the 1st week of October. The business end of the year for me due to exams and assignments. However, I am still going to churn out reviews and these charts to the best of my ability over the coming weeks, so be prepared. They may be released on at a reasonable pace or dumped all on one day. I’ll try not to result to the latter, but just a warning (just in case).

I realized while writing up this post that there was an error in last week’s post. While I do change the errors immediately, I rather not change the published charts a week after it was published. All Night by SNSD should have been in 28th, which bumps down ONF, SNSD and Bobby one spot. That means SNSD’s Party becomes 30th position and Bobby’s Runaway becomes 31st. My apologies.

But there is no error in this week’s charts, with B1A4 taking out the top spot with Rollin’. Seventeen Hip Hop Unit’s Trauma makes their debut in second position, while DNA remains in third (as last week’s).  K.Will and Yunho both rose from their respective positions last week to 4th and 5th position, respectively. We are fast approaching the end of the year as we have just hit October. But let’s check out the chart for the final week of September 2017.

Jung Sewoon’s debut track, Just U, managed to take out the first position this week. Following extremely closely is Seventeen’s latest ‘unit’ track, Change Up, which features the leaders of each of the three units within Seventeen. BTS’s DNA dropped down to third place, while B1A4 and DIA took out 4th and 5th position this week.

Due to the Chuseok holiday in South Korea this week (and Mid-Autumn Festival in other parts of Asia), you won’t see much activity within the industry and hence my site this week. So far, only Kim Kyu Jong and Seventeen’s Hip Hop unit will be making releases in the next.  I do expect to get a third review out during the week, but don’t expect too much from me.

Welcome all to the 2nd week of September. I know I have said this before but the year is going way too fast for my liking. I am almost finished my semester and I only remember starting it. Everything else has been a blur!!! But despite that, I have taken some time out of today to write the weekly chart post, so let’s get going!

A slight reshuffle of last week’s top 5, with a few knockdowns and some re-entry. Jung Sewoon rose to fifth place this week with Just U. GFriend took out fourth place with their previous title track, Love Whisper. Pentagon moved up to third place with Like This and EXO’s Power wasn’t enough to hold them at the top spot for a second week, as they dropped down to second position. Honeymoon by B.A.P came out as victorious and took out the top spot this week!

Major comeback next week! BTS is making their return with DNA (and I am super excited for it). Joining BTS as well are April, Eunkwang (BTOB), Seches Kies and Niel (Teen Top).

So anytime in the future, I make some predictions, stop me. I must save what pride I have left after all those horrible predictions that never went through. Hahahaha…

If you scroll down, you may notice that there have been many jumps in the charts, particularly those that have not been in the top 30 in the past week. Sometimes, my chart is spontaneous like that. For example, KARD jumped up 17 positions to sit snuggly in the third spot.
