[Weekly KPOP Chart] 5th Week of March 2023

Welcome to the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 5th Week of March 2023. Once again, it is going to be a quick one (though I managed to fill in all of the segments) as I have a few things to do around the house. So let’s get going! Oh, on a side note, I am hoping to write more reviews this week than compared to last week. I am kind of hoping the week before the upcoming long weekend here in Australia is a lot lighter at work than last week (hence, I won’t be as tired).

Recap & New releases of the Week

Apologies for the slow week this past week. I begun the week with reviews for Stray Kids’ Give Me Your TMI and the long overdue album review for MAXIDENT. I then took a three day break (Blame the tiredness that set in right after dinner from a busy week of work). On the last two days of the week, I managed to sneak in a review for IVE’s Kitsch and JISOO’s FLOWER.

The following songs were also released during the week and was entered into the Weekly KPOP Charts system. Some of them will be reviewed.

  • Sour & Sweet – BamBam (GOT7)
  • EUNOIA – Billlie
  • Burger Ate Pizza – Ryu Sera
  • i – Ryu Sera
  • Eyes On Me – Ahri (Rocking Doll)
  • Shining Bright – CSR
  • GGBB – MAMAMOO+
  • NUMBER BOY – HOLLAND
  • Love or Hate – Ryu Sujeong
  • TRICKY HOUSE – xikers
  • ROCKSTAR – xikers

Throwback corner

EXO’s Don’t Fight The Feeling, their most recent title track from 2021 is this week’s Throwback Song.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The Non-Korean release of the 5th Week of March 2023 is SECRET NUMBER’s LIKE IT LIKE IT. It ranked in the 21st position. A review for LIKE IT LIKE IT is coming in the future. So keep, your eyes out for that.

The Charts

Congratulations to IVE and their newest song, Kitsch, for debuting in the number 1 spot of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart for the 5th Week of March 2023.. For more of the charts, keep on reading for more of the charts.

    1. lol My criteria for most songs featured in the Throwback Corner is any song released prior to the last 12 months or so (i.e. songs released in April last year have just officially become eligible for the Throwback Corner). However, I have put in songs more recent songs in the corner in the past (they just cannot be part of the Weekly KPOP Charts at the time it is featured in the Corner).
