Honestly, how is it already May? The year is moving too fast already! Welcome to the Weekly KPOP Charts post for the 1st Week of May 2023. Per usual, I am going to keep the intro short. I am going to write up the final 2022 album reviews today and have them posted sometime in the new week. This hopefully will mean I will be making a start on the 2023 album reviews soon, possibly even next weekend. More song reviews – both songs that I have yet to review that were released this year and new releases – are also expected. But first, the Weekly KPOP Charts!

This week’s throwback song is HIGHLIGHT’s Not The End. Its message of a new beginning (rather than the end) popped into my head this week and drew me to the song.
Non-Korean Release of the Week
This week’s non-Korean release of the week is Golden Child’s 3rd Japanese single, Crayon, which was released mid-last month. It ranks in the 18th position this week.
