It is the weekend, so you all know what time it is! Weekly KPOP Charts time! I have been working on the site all week so there has been a huge influx on posts this week. On top of that LOONA’s Music Video Theory is in the works, along with a very special surprise coming up next Saturday, so be prepared. But on with the charts before I can publish anything else! Topping the charts this week is EXID’s newest release, I Love You. Following very closely behind are Wanna One’s Spring Breeze and HIGHLIGHT’s Loved. All of these are new releases in the past week and they have taken over the charts. Hello to all, once again. I hope you all had a fantastic week and are gearing up for another excellent week ahead. But before we can end the week and make a fresh start, we need to have a close look at the charts for the second week of November. Please excuse the hazy filter on the featured image. I don’t know why that is happening (it is completely fine when I open the file normally).

Topping the charts once again is Monsta X’s Shoot Out. This is their second week on the top, with the first being two weeks ago. Gugudan follows behind with Not That Type, landing in the second position from their 27th position last week. Last week’s number one song, Tempo by EXO dropped down the third position. TWICE remains steady with YES or YES, while JBJ95 rose one spot to complete the top 5 for this week.

The year is wrapping up faster than expected. Welcome to the chart post for the first week of November 2018. November! It is crazy to think 2018 is almost up. Before we quickly get the charts, I just want to confirm that the music video theory post for UNB’s Sense/Feeling will be published later this week. Also, I have special plans for the album review section of the site, so watch this space!

Rising to the top of the charts this week is EXO’s Tempo, which I think has grown on me a fair amount, despite me already liking it when it first came out. Last week’s number 1 song, Shoot Out by Monsta X, dropped down the second position this week. La Vie en Rose by IZ*ONE remained steady, while digital queen TWICE and fromis_9 completed this week’s top 5.

I am officially free from my studies for the year, so I am back to a regular posting schedule. Taking the top spot on the charts this week is April’s Oh My Mistake, which rose from 5th position last week. Weki Meki remains in the top 5 this week but dropped down to the third position. Welcome back to this week’s edition of the chart. As I have exams this week, this post is going to be one quick one. So let’s get going!

After weeks of a similar Top 5 rankings, there has been a mild shakeup with new artists taking over all but four of the positions. Weki Meki’s Crush rosed to the top of the charts this week, from its 13th position last week. NCT 127’s Regular also rose a fair bit, from its 24th position last week to the 4th position this week. Both VAV’s Senorita (2nd) and APRIL’s Oh! My Mistake (5th) begin their run on the charts in the top 5. The only song to remain in the Top 5 after 5 weeks (and this making its 6th week) is Oh My Girl’s Remember Me.

Hello everybody. If you saw my tweet from yesterday, I have officially started my one week break before exams. But due to a few important assignments and exam preparation, I have decided to against publishing album reviews and Japanese song reviews for the next two weeks and I will return shortly after everything is wrapped up I will continue posting these weekly charts and song reviews as normal, so it isn’t massive hiatus like previous years.

For the past few weeks, a number of songs have dominated the Top 5 of the charts. This week, we have a slight changeup with three new songs entering the Top 5. Fromis_9’s new song, Love Bomb, clinched onto the 1st position. Sunmi’s Siren remains in the Top 5 by rising to the second position this week. Following Sunmi is Super Junior’s latest Latin comeback song with REIK, One More Time, and IU’s chart-topping single, BBIBBI. Finally, Oh My Girl finishes up the Top 5 with their single, Remember Me.

I did promise some things last week which I haven’t published yet. I will hold off on them and publish them once I have time (i.e. when the two weeks half-hiatus wraps up). Sorry. But next week, you can expect reviews for VAV, Stray Kids, Nakjoon, Kim Dong Han, Jung Eunji (APINK) and Lee Hong Gi, as they are the confirmed comebacks for next week, so far.

It is Sunday, so you should all know what time it is. Welcome to this week’s Weekly KPOP Charts post, where we look back at where the songs ranked in the past week! It has been a very chill week for me this week, with not much happening. WordPress recently brought out a ‘streak’ function, where they record how many consecutive days I have posted. I am currently on 20 (with this post being the 21st day in the row I have posted), so clearly I am motivated to continue going on! So do expect more reviews to come out during the week!

Ranking at the very top of the charts this week is GOT7’s Lullaby, who made their comeback this week. Oh My Girl, Sunmi and NCT Dream, who ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively last week, have all dropped down 1 position, filling up the 2nd, 3rd and 4th position. It is a Sunday, so you all know what time it is!!! Welcome to this week’s Weekly KPOP Charts for the second week of September 2018. It has been a big week with many new releases including Oh My Girl, Pentagon, SHINee, Hoya, DAY6 and Hyomin making their respective comebacks. And if you think that is an action-packed week, big names such as GOT7, WJSN (Cosmic Girls), Dream Catcher and UNI.T will be returning, so keep your eyes peeled for those reviews. On top of that, I have decided to write an album review for Sunmi, NCT Dream, Oh My Girl and Pentagon, so they should be released per usual schedule (or possibly sooner if I can fit it into my schedule).

Taking the top position of the chart this week is Oh My Girl’s latest comeback track, Remember Me. They clearly do not need to worry as I won’t be forgetting the song any time soon. Sunmi’s Siren, which was last week’s Number 1 Song, dropped down one position to the second position. Pentagon’s Naughty Boy also make its first appearance in the Top 5 in the fourth position. We also welcome back We Go Up by NCT Dream, who lands into the third position, while The Boyz’s Right Here rises to finish off the top 5.

As you may see I don’t have a Japanese review out this week as I couldn’t find any new releases. I am still digging around and if you know of any Japanese releases by a Korean artist, feel free to comment below and I will try to review it!

Welcome back to another week’s edition of the Weekly Charts. We enter the month of September this week, with what was a very busy week for me. But as it is Sunday, it is time to see which songs rank where on the charts for this week. It is going to be another quick one, so let’s get going!

Topping the charts this week is Sunmi’s Siren, which was quite an addictive song now that I think about it. Following behind is BTS’ IDOL, which continues to rise towards the top of the charts. Will it clinch onto the top spot next week? We just have to wait until next Sunday to find out. In the third position, SF9’s Now or Never returns back to the top 5 after topping the charts itself a few weeks back. The fourth position goes to 100%’s Heart while finishing off the top 5 is ASTRO’s Always You, which has been on the charts for a number of weeks now (just their first time in the Top 5).

Guess who is back, ready to catch up on the many reviews that were missed out in the last few weeks! Oh and write up a tonne of album reviews because there was so many great albums released in August! But before then, we must find out which song managed to clinch itself onto the top spot on the charts for the past week of 19th of August to the 25th of August.

We have two new songs making their first appearance this week in the Top 5. Upside Down (by BIGFLO) is this week’s 1st place song, knocking down (G)I-DLE’s HANN from last week (which dropped down to 4th place. IMFACT’s NANANA takes hold of second place, while Between Us (by Laboum) is back in 3rd position. Finally, rounding out the top 5 is Momoland’s BAM, which rose 24 spots from 29 last week.

I just want to inform you that the next few weeks will be a little awkward as I am trying to finish a number of assignments and study for tests. I will still try to review all the new releases but do not be alarm if I randomly disappear for a few days.

If you scroll down below, we have a brand new song sitting at the top of the charts. SF9’s Now or Never is the chart-topping song of this week and this was expected given how mindblowing the song is. Seventeen continues their run in the top 5, rising back to the second position on the charts. iKON’s Killing Me (the other mindblowing track from last week) lands in the third position.
