Sunday has come and it is time to look over the past week of KPOP! This segment is my ranking of KPOP songs each week, which might indicate to you what my listening patterns are. And if you are to pull anything from this segment, it is I have very erratic listening patterns. Songs charting this week probably won’t be around next week in the Top 30 but will reappear in the week after. There is some stability in some releases though. Let’s dig into the charts for the 3rd Week of July 2020 a little further.

Making its debut at the very top of the charts this week is Apple by GFriend, a common place to find GFriend’s song when they have a comeback. Falling just behind them is last week’s number one song, Left & Right by Seventeen. EXO-SC’s 1 Billion Views debuts in the third position, followed by Jeong Sewoon’s Say Yes. And finally, Golden Child’s ONE (Lucid Dream) rises back into the Top 5 this week. For more of the charts, scroll down below.

It is time for the next Weekly Chart post. Another week has passed, so let’s have a quick look at how the songs have ranked on my personal charts. It will be a quick one today, as I am a bit busy today. There will be an album review today following this, so I need to get onto that as well!

But even though it is a quick one, we still need to go through the Top 5! Remaining steady from last week at the top of the charts is SEVENTEEN with their Left & Right track. Rising to the top of the charts into the second and third position is Sunmi’s pporappippam (Purple Night) and WOODZ’s Love Me Harder. While we were stuck in June for a small portion of the past week, officially we just wrapped up the first week of the second half of 2020. So, welcome all to the first Weekly KPOP Charts post for the second half of 2020. And it one damn busy week with loads of comebacks. I tried my best to cover the majority of them, but I do note that I haven’t covered all of them yet. I will begin reviewing those comebacks this week, as we don’t have much of an intense week this time around. But per usual, we must get through the Weekly Chart post first before we get to those.

Rising to the top of the charts this week is Seventeen’s latest comeback title track, Left & Right (which came in second place last week). Definitely a recommended song from the first half of 2020. Playing switch-a-roo with Left & Right is last week’s number one song, Stray Kid’s God’s Menu. The remaining three positions in the Top 5 this week are made of new songs we saw during this past week. We have just completed the final week of the first half of 2020! It has been a wild ride and hopefully everything bad that has happened in the first half of 2020 will get better in the second half. We had a relatively quiet week in KPOP, with major comebacks from SEVENTEEN and BLACKPINK occurring this week. I think I mentioned last week that this past week was going to be busy. But I mucked up the weeks, as this coming week will be loaded with comebacks, such as from Sunmi, AB6IX, Hwasa, VERIVERY, Lee Jin Hyuk and many others. But before we get through to those reviews, we need to go through the Weekly KPOP Charts.

Rising to the top of the charts this week is Stray Kids’s God’s Menu. It is powerful and intense, so no wonder it is at the highest position this week. Following closely behind is SEVENTEEN’s Left & Right, which is their latest release. In the third position, we have NATURE’s Girls, which has proven to be quite a song. Golden Child is another group to have released a new song this week and One (Lucid Dream) comes in the fourth position this week. Completing the Top 5 this week is MONSTA X’s FANTASIA. It has been one intense week, with big name comebacks returning over the past week. IZ*ONE, Stray Kids, Weki Meki are just part of the lineup from this week. And we are expecting another strong lineup over the next week returning to the stage, such as Seventeen and Golden Child. Remaining at the top of the charts from last week is WJSN’s Butterfly. The first new release of the week, Secret Story of the Swan, comes courtesy of IZ*ONE and the female grop finds their new song’s in the second position of the charts. SEVENTEEN’s My My rises to the third position, ahead of their comeback tomorrow. Stray Kids make a strong impression with God’s Menu and find themselves in the fourth position, while Weki Meki’s Oopsy completes the Top 5 for this week. Topping the charts for the 2nd Week of June 2020 is WJSN’s Butterfly, the song that I have been continuously replaying all week. It is followed by the funky Get Ready by Ha Sung Woon. This post is slightly late and I am going to post the next album review tomorrow, as it is quite late where I am at the moment. I have been out and about all weekend, so I have a bit behind. Rising to the top of the chart is Park Ji Hoon with Wing. Park Ji Hoon occupied the fifth position week and over took a number of big name artists to the top of the chart. One of these big names is TWICE, who returned earlier this week with MORE & MORE. Currently, TWICE is holding onto the second position. Following behind TWICE is last week’s number 1 song, MONSTA X’s FANTASIA. D-CRUNCH’s Pierrot rises into the Top 4, while VICTON’s Mayday debuts in the fifth position this week.

Welcome back to another Weekly KPOP Chart post. I have been busy all morning and afternoon, so I am bringing a slightly late post today. It has been a very busy week in KPOP, with a lot of comebacks in just this final week of May. I hear June is exceptionally busy as well with a lot of major groups scheduling comebacks in time for Summer. Looking forward to all the new releases. The Top 5 for this week is dominated by male groups and mostly new releases from this week alone. MONSTA X rises to the top this week with their new single, FANTASIA, which came out on Monday. It is time to wrap up another week and to look back on the week just passed. And there is no better way to do this than look back through the Weekly KPOP Charts. This week, NU’EST rose 28 positions into the fourth position with their latest comeback single. It is another Sunday, so another Weekly KPOP Chart post is here! This comes alongside two album reviews, as I somehow forgot to post the one that was meant for yesterday. So I just decided to post both the Friday (2 days late, was rescheduled for Saturday) and Sunday album reviews, so I can focus on the upcoming PAR and some other standalone reviews that I really need to write up. But until those come out, let’s get to charts.

Rising to the top of the charts this week is ASTRO’s Knock, which was in the third position last week. Also rising to the top, but only into the second position is Good Night by H&D (due to the review I published earlier in the week). Baek Z Young and Ong Seong Woo’s collaboration, Didn’t Say Anything, debuts in the third position. The song that reigned on the top of the charts for the last two weeks, Nonstop by Oh My Girl, dropped to the fourth position. Finally, DAY6’s Zombie debuts in the fifth position this week. The 1st Week of May 2020 has just passed. We are literally flying through 2020, with the half year mark just a few weeks away. And I think many people will be glad for the fast speed as we go through this year, given that 2020 has been exceptionally crazy given the well known and unique circumstances we find ourselves in. I hope you are all well and staying safe in the meantime. As it is a Sunday, it is time for the weekly KPOP charts.

Remaining on top of the charts this week is Oh My Girl’s Nonstop (and if I considered non-title tracks, then Dolphin would remain in the top spot as per last week). Behind the group is Taeyeon, who returns with her digital single, Happy. ASTRO also made their comeback this week with Knock, which debuts in the third position this week. IU’s collaboration single with Suga from BTS, Eight, debuts in the fourth position, while Chungha’s first pre-release single, Stay Tonight, rounds out our Top 5 this week. It has been another week and it is time we wrap it up with the Weekly KPOP Chart segment. If you haven’t noticed (and I don’t blame you, all the days are now a blur with this staying at home business), we have entered May and it seems we are about to be thrown in a hectic first half month with countless comebacks confirmed. I haven’t even considered upcoming debuts yet! But before we can move forward with reviewing albums and comebacks, we must push forward with this week’s Weekly KPOP Chart post.

For the fifth week of April, the number 1 song is Oh My Girl’s Nonstop. But if I were to consider side tracks on the chart as well, you would find Oh My Girl’s Dolphin overtaking the charts. But the charts only focus on the main promotional tracks, so let’s switch our focus back on them. In the second position, we have Solar’s Spit It Out. In the third position, we have APRIL’s LALALILALA, which played switcheroo with Solar’s song from last week. Chungha’s Stay Tonight debuts in the fourth position, while NCT Dream’s Ridin’ completes this week’s top 5.

It is another Sunday and time for another Weekly KPOP Chart post. It has been a crazy week of comebacks, with the return of familiar names in the industry. And it seems like the influx of comebacks are just about to begin with big names in the industry return throughout the next week and the month of May. I don’t know how I will keep up to date with the releases but I will try my very best. In the meantime, here is the Weekly KPOP Charts.

Topping the charts for the fourth week of the fourth month of 2020 is GOT7’s Not By The Moon. Following behind GOT7 is APRIL’s LALALILALA, both songs have been playing repeatedly throughout the week. Solar’s solo relaease, Spit It Out, debuts in the third position. The only song that is not brand new in the Top 5 this week is ITZY’s Wannabe, which is a song not unfamilair with the Top 5 section of the charts. Topping the charts this week is APINK’s newest release, Dumhdurum. It is bit of a title to pronounce at first, but listening to the song on repeat will definitely engrave the pronunciation of the title in your mind. MCND’s Spring rises to the second position. Last week’s top song, Oh My God by (G)I-DLE dropped down the third position. Break Up by Lim Young Min (a member of AB6IX) rose to the fourth position this week. The only other song from last week’s Top 5 that managed to remain in the Top 5 alongside Kang Daniel is ONEUS, with A Song Written Easily. They rose to the second position this week. ITZY’s Wannabe rises into the third position, while Yezi does the same with Home for the fourth position. The final song in this week’s Top 5 is the newly debut TOO with Magnolia.
