Song

Now, even though they are a new band and it is great to know that they are releasing new singles, however I have one rant to make. Artists usually make a comeback with their actual single, do a follow up promotion track and  then maybe just a repackaged album/single. This band however has released 4 different songs. Are they crazy? Why does Cube not let them rest? This is a reason how bad the entertainment industry is. Well at least they are not promoting their latest song.

What I love about this song is that it is about our fathers, or actually parents in general. There are never any songs about our family, and what they actually mean to us. I have to say, our fathers are the most important men in the lives, while our mums are the most important ladies in our lives. They have a voice that is a lot like 2AM’s. I really like their voice in the whole song, maybe they should just do ballads, however they are also good at pop songs as well. There is just one thing we can all agree on: “This song is touching.”

Music Video

There is nothing really to say, beside the fact that the music video involves close-ups and just a bunch of guys in a room, singing.

However I do like the many comments, especially on the first page. Not one person is being an anti. Not one person is complaining about the lack of something in the song or music video.

Also the pictures of each band members when they were younger with their father, was also nice to see, cause they add an extra bit of love in the song.

And The Rating?

9/10. A really touching song in my point of view.

Spring of a Twenty Year Old – IU

ITS OFFICIAL! I AM BACK!!!!!

Song

This is a really refreshing song. I found it really soothing even though it contained electro-beats to it. I found it really cool and nice. The lyrics do reflect a twenty year old’s spring. Hopefully it will be like this when I am twenty years old. Only 4 and a bit more years. I really like the end chorus, cause the song builds up the suspense and just unleashes it with full glory which was really nice. The only complaint with the song was the start. It was slow and compared to the ending, it kind of sucked. I mean the start was really slow and the end was like bang. Not really that fun I believe. But overall the song was nice in my point of view.

Music Video

OMG the music video was… boring. I seriously find it hard to sit in front of a computer for 27 minutes watching a music video. To make it worse, the song was the end of the whole music video, which kind of bored me. If I had not read the comment, I would’ve have given this a really ad review. (I just skipped to the end). Seriously, at least give it some kind of a storyline to it. All I see is IU running free with her boyfriend for some reason I think is the camera man or PD of the whole expedition. I hated T-Ara’s Cry Cry and Lovey Dovey music video because they took so freaking long to end. This is 10 times worse. Great to know that IU is drinking her milk, but where the music????

Now I know that in Korea, twenty is like the coming of age  and yes I wish to celebrate mine, but this is a music video. Also I know it is some kind of fan-service music video but I really don’t like the fact that is about her life and the schedules she go through. For some it is fascinating, for others (like me) another video is a much better idea. (A behind the scene would be good, with the music video being a whole separate video).

And The Rating?

A 7.5/10. Love the song but not the music video. Sorry IU. (There is no performance. Which does sucks.)

How Dare You – Sistar

What a freaking good song. (Review is just what 2 years delayed.) Look at where they have come from. They were really a small rookie group when they started and now they are part of the Hallyu wave. The whole song is freaking good. The rap is freaking good. The vocals are freaking good. he tune and melody is freaking good. This is one freaking good song.

The only complaint I must lodge with this song is Dasom. She only has a limited amount of lines in this song where she actually goes solo. She is my favourite member and I believe she has to have more lines. Hyorin kind of has three quarters of the song while the rest of the members only have a few seconds. SO yeah the song is kind of unbalanced. Oh and all I hear is Hyorin’s voice in the chorus. It is powerful but not fair for the others.

Music Video

So I get confused with the music video and the actually song title. The song is How Dare You and Sistar is singing it so I assuming the song is directed to their boyfriends or ex’s. The first part is like when they lie and the girls find lip stains all over the guys shirt so its is okay to say “How Dare You” to the guys , but when the girls realize the mistake they made, I guess the song title just shatters and lose it literal meaning. I don’t know this thought had me troubled for a while until I started to listen to other songs by them.

The music video is quite colourful. I have to say that. Its light and bright which does matches the tone and the melody of the song as a catchy and fun (?) song to sing. I do really like the start of the whole video with the pole. *Insert dirty joke here*.

Live Performance

Damn they are flexible. That high kick at the start of most of the perofrmances and at the end are really awesome. Oh and the fan dance move is equally as awesome as this one. Really cool. Only one complaint here as well, the realy tight one suits or what ever they are not cool in my point of view. I hate anything that is a one suit. To the point where I can not stand wearing a suit jacket with the same colour pants.

And The Rating?

A good 9 out of 10 for this. Just a few complaints here and there. ]

Beautiful Night – ULALA Session

[NOTE: This review was meant to be published a month ago. Somehow it did not post. Somehow it did not save the videos which I linked in. So yeah, after a month’s delay]

Song

This is quite different to what I am used to. It’s weird. In a good way. I found this song really catchy and really fun to listen too. I am quite surprised they are actually a rookie group because they sound so confident in their singing. Now I only just found out they used to be on SuperK I think the show is called. And they were really good. (I checked out their performances while on the show). It is a really good song. The start of the song was kind of rough but it started their career and the song with a BANG!!!

The vocals for this band are really good. Oh and also the raps. What I really like the song is how they change the tone of their voice each time a new verse comes along and I actually think now after seeing their live performance, they are all equally good. I will be keeping an eye out for this band in the future and I would recommend this song to anyone. “Ye-ye-ye-yeah~”. (NOTE: This song sounds a lot like Footloose, you know that song, written after the movie.)

Music Video

This is another hilarious music video. In my mind, it is what I like to call “The Mystery of the Missing Golden Purse.” But really it is not a mystery at all. Now the music video starts off at a wedding where the guy is singing to the bride and groom. He then turns to a lady (Se7en’s Girlfriend) who has the golden purse and sings to her instead, with the bride and groom smiling happily still in the background. Then all hell break loose and the band members take it in turn to throw the purse, which was snatched out of the lady’s hand. The lady becomes pissed and marches out the wedding where everyone continues to dance like how PSY does…

Then a whole different party is introduced and the girl soon finds her purse, after dancing with the thieves. Then everyone comes back together, wedding and party for a whole dance ending. The girl then turns around and throws her purse behind and it somehow lands on the moon? or in Space? She is very strong. WOW!!!

Live Performance

The live performance for this song is really good. I particularly find the dance absurd however quite funky and cool. It really does fit the song. Beside there is nothing really to write about here. But one find. Fireworks would make this performance much better. Fireworks will always enhance a good dance track like this one.

And The Rating?

8/10. Yeah. Its a good song, however as said above,  maybe its not the ideal debut.

Twinkle – TAETISEO

TAETISEO is the new subunit of Gril’s Generation. Now, I have to be honest but Girl’s Generation lastest song is not that good in my books. Not really a big fan of “The Boys”. But “Twinkle” is something totally different to The Boys. The song is something I would actually find the 9 members to sing, nor did I expect Tiffany, Taeyeon & Seohyun actually sing this song. I actually thought it did not suit the girls style and genre. I must say I am totally wrong. They pulled off the song really well and their vocals in this song is really superb. The whole song was really good. As soon as the video loaded on YouTube, I could not press pause. There is no rap in this song and actually nowadays, I think the rap is overused in most KPOP videos. Some videos have the rapped out of placed or does not even blend in with the colour of the sound.

It is a catchy song and I really enjoyed the start of the song because it was different. It is very hard to find a music video or song that is a standout in the KPOP industry nowadays.

Now to be honest, I did like the video however I did not like some parts in this video. Now, at the start, the girls are celebrities and you can tell with the large amount of paparazzi at the door of the theatre. But poor guy who has kind of awkwardly walking around when the group split in the two groups. Also, is he part of EXO. I think he is, since the other guys in the music video were too, part of EXO I really did not like this idea. Seriously, I know SM is trying to promote EXO but seriously, I am actually sick of seeing EXO-K now because of the 35685478956689 teasers and prologue singles. They have been in the spotlight for a bit too long and actually grown tired of them. Their song is good but yeah…

Now, I actually did not notice this, but there are 6 back up dances. Plus the three girls and there is 9 people on stage. Look at Girl’s Generation. 9 people usually on stage with NO back up dancers. Is SM trying to hint something here? I really don’t know, but there was also an article on ALLKPOP which said and I quote “3 is enough?”. If this subunit does stop Girl’s Generation from promoting as a whole group, I will be pissed. Seriously. Beside that and the cute little dog, nothing much will be said.

I actually don’t find anything really good with the music video. There is not much to say abut it anyway. It was not exciting but it was also good.

Amazing – UKISS

This was one of their good songs on the album. The others include DORADORA, 4U & When Love Stops. It is a really great song, with the party theme in it. I not so happy with the “End Of The World” line in the song. I don’t think it is a great thing to say especially in 2012. I would think it would okay to say in 2013 onwards but that line really gives me the shivers in 2012. ME NO WANT THE WORLD TO END!!!

The electronic beat is really good in this song and is much different compared to DORADORA or Neverland as it has this refreshing beat to it. I am so glad I am listening to theses songs in Winter, here in Australia. The weather is so gloomy here. I feel so sad. I should be listening to depressing songs. The chorus of this song is really catchy and very easy to listen to. It’s not complex or anything.

And The Rating?

There is no music video or performance for this song, so I am going to just rate the song. 8/10. “End Of The World” line ruined it for me.

Someone Else – JYP & Gain (Brown Eyed Girls)

Wow. I’m not a fan of JYP but am a very big fan of Brown Eyed Girls and I had to listen to this song because of Ga-in. I must say she has not disappointed me at all from Irreversible to her recent solo song for another artist’s anniversary album. I have to say this is a really freaking good song. I love the huskiness of JYP voice and I think his voice fits these kinds of ballads. Ga-In was really good as well, her voice blending well with JYP making it a really great song. Singing done right for once.

“Can You Take Me Back Again, Again…” must be the most memorable line for me. It reminds me of a line in a really famous movie but I just can’t grab hold of the title of the movie. But seriously, after listening to this song I just keep on repeating this line. If I forget the line, I will literraly replay the whole song to just remember the whole line and use that as excuse to listen to the song. So yeah, the song was one hell of a good song.

Music Video

OMG. This must be another one of those really tragic videos. JYP and Ga-In are lovers (well Ex lovers). Ga-In has a husband, but does feel out-of-place and lonely when she is alone or with her husband. JYP is a playboy but does feel out-of-place where he is at that time. They both wanting to go back to their previous relationship, ending up going to a place where I assume have some special connection, like the first time they met. They end up cuddling each other and JYP, gets rid of the ring which Ga-In has on her ring finger and this symbolises the end of their previous relationship (Ga-In+ Husband & JYP + thousands of girls) and start their new relationship together. There is a short dance scene, which is really good but a bit random, like Se7en’s When I Can’t Sing. It just appears right there and then.

And The Rating?

There is no live performance and if there is, it won;t effect the rating I give them because I am just going to skip over that part. 9/10. Love this song and music video.

DORADORA – UKISS

Okay, I am not entirely impress with this song. But I can see this song is really good at the same time. I guess I was expecting something along the lines of their last Korean track or their debut track in Japan (Neverland and Tick Tack respectively). But still this song is really good. I listened to the song 3 times to get into the song, so this song is actually no different from over songs. There are many sections of the song which I enjoyed like:

1. The Dora-Dora part

2. The chorus

3. The rap sequence

4. All together, the whole song.

The song however does not live up to my expectations. The climax of the song really was not climatic, but instead repeated the the same section of the song at the end. To me that was rubbish. Brown Eyed Girl’s Sixth Sense had the 2 high notes to differentiate the bridge to the final chorus. Super Junior had that rap sequence in Super Junior (even though, they did repeat the whole chorus again). The rap in this song is really good but it does not have the glue which a bridge is meant to have.

Music Video

I’ve noticed a little trend in music videos lately. That glow in the dark paint that usually gets thrown in the air to ht the wall and make the whole music video look pretty. 2NE1’s  I Am The Best, Seo In Guk’s Shake It Up and also B.A.P’s teasers for Power.Beside that though I think this video is okay. Except for those bright white pants that they wear in the video. And the fact that they are standing upside down, on the sides of the wall and on the gournd normally. Oh and what the hell is happening in the video. Why is one guy sleeping and another watching? WHAT IN THE JIBBERS IS GOING ON?

I do like the abstarct wall that they are in. You know the one with the weird boxes sticking out of the wall. Also, the dark setting, where they are wearing those horrible white pants. Another fashion mistake. “Never wear white socks with black shoes.” What my English Teacher always said to my friend. But beside the  white pants and the weirdly pedo feel in the video, the music video is really good. Oh, the ending of the video is the best.

Live Performance

The dance in this is what I would describe has sexy. Yeah, but it really does not fit UKISS’s image. Their dances were very powerful in Neverland, Man Man Ha Ni, Shut Up. I also think 0330 was pretty strong as well. The dance for this song is really good and sexy, but it really does not fit in with UKISS’s image. I do like the DORADORA part of the dance. It matches the beat and is kind of catchy. Yeah, I tried. Failed miserably.

And The Rating?

7.67 out of 10. Its is a good song, just nothing I guess I am expecting or ready to see.

Power – B.A.P

B.A.P is back with another ass kicking song. You think Warrior was bad ass you have not seen Power. Basically the whole title sums the song up. There is so much POWER in the song. I was literally stunned by the effectiveness of the song when it came out. I quite enjoyed the raps in this song and they are much catchier than the Warrior raps. Okay, why don’t I say I like the song much more the Warrior. Warrior was good but Power is much more catchier and heavier. The vocals are really catchy and I am quite surprised with the outcome of the song. The English is really good and I love YoungJae and Daehyun’s part in the song.

The only complaint is Daehyun’s long note part near the end. It did not match the feeling the song. But beside that, I am playing this song on the loop.

Music Video

Wow, Again. you think Warrior was awesome, well you must not have seen Power. It is so freaking good. I have been blown away. See Super Junior & SHINee, this is how you do big blockbuster songs. That big alien spaceship is really cool. I must say I loved the rabbit but now a rocket ship. What is next? The World Largest Car? That would be awesome. I really like the setting of the music video as well. It sets a mysterious vibe in the song and really does reflect the sound of the song. I’m not entirely sure about the start of the music video but did you see Bang Yong Guk’s ear piercing? They were sharp as!!!! Enough to kill someone. Wait. Scratch that.

I just hope that tattoo on Zelo is a fake one. I don’t like tattoo’s. Especially since he is my age, I now don’t want to see that tattoo on him if it is real. He looks dodgy with a tattoo. No offence.

Oh, I really like their range of clothes. Very stylish for a fierce comeback.

One thing I must say. I also don’t like ripped pants or pants with holes in them. They look bad, disgusting and unfashionable. Seriously.

WOW to the dance of the song. It is really jammed pack and trust me, would really be difficult to dance to. I really like the HATE YOU part of the dance and the “spray dance”. It is really creative and different in the KPOP world. It also looks really fun to dance with. Oh and I love the “We’ve Got The Power, I’ve Got The Power” part of the dance as well. It definitely feels like they have power when they are dancing.

And The Rating?

I give this song a 9.83 out of 10. Its a really good song and has a very different feel to the many other KPOP songs nowdays.

Oh My God – Girls Day

Hmmmmm… Had a long thought about this song. I’m not really happy with it to be honest. I don’t like the instrumental of the song at all. I find it kind of irritating at the moment and had my cursor over the back button just in case. Now I am not saying they are awful but this song is not up there with their previous songs. That cutey girl voice does not really go well with the techno, electro beat and is really weird. The song is “Oh My God”, but for some reason I can hear someone say “Oh My Gosh” at the start of every chorus which annoyed me to bits. Also the start sounded like dubstep. Korea, stay away from dubstep or else I may need to find a new genre of music. To be honest, I actually did not look at the english translation of this song, and seriously, if this song is about love… Oh Geezz….

Music Video

Okay, humorous video. With no lyrics what so ever, here is what happens. So this rebellious girl is driven by her dad to the “library”. He says good luck to her for her studies and good bye. He drives off leaving the girl along. This guy who was just randomly sitting in front of the library goes to her (I think he likes her) but gets smacked in the face. Then the library turns into a club (Would Like to know how?) and people randomly started to appear. She then tries to get into the club but the bouncer stops her. She then proves that she is “good” by dancing and taking his hat. She then goes into the club where another popular girl is and she versus the popular girl. The popular girl losers and befriends the latter. Then there is another girl in the club who versus them and loses. Yep, thats the video.

The voices in the music video is another aspect of the whole thing which I hated. It is so bad. It is so ugly and unappealing. WHy are we rely so much on technology?

I must say the dance is really cute for this video and it kind of matches the beat of the song.

And The Rating?

6/10. Really the song is annoying and it just really is not something that I am into. 😐

Princess & Prince Charming – Sunny Hill

I must admit this song is not their best. I really do prefer The Grasshopper Song and Midnight Circus. But that does not mean I was not as impress with this song. I quite like this song even though I do like their previous song. It is catchy and is very different from their other songs. It’s not like The Grasshopper Song as it is unique however it is equally powerful in its own way. The song raises the question if there is actually a princess or prince charming for each of us. No I’m not a big fan of fairy-tales and actually love reading the fables, but this is a really good topic to base it on. The Grasshopper Song was about the grasshopper and ant fable. Midnight Circus was about freeing themselves from the puppet master or circus master.

Now, this song has the lot. Great vocals, a catchy beat, a meaningful reasoning. What else would you want? Sunny Hill never disappoints. I really like the lyrics in this song. My favourite part was “Diss 1,2,3,4. Listen to This.”

Okay, teaser. WTF reaction. I was watching the teaser when it cam out and was like yeah this is a cool song. Then smack bang was the most ugliest guy ever. I don’t know if he is Spanish or Mexican or another nationality. I must say, I was scarred deeply after seeing his face. And just for the fun of it (click on it, if you dare):

It is kind of weird. But then again the teaser and the music video raises the point “Are all Prince Charming charming and all princess beautiful?”. No not really. I guess this music video talks a bit about uniqueness and be comfortable with your looks. I am not really sure with the guitarist at the start, I don’t think he should’ve been included in the video at all. He does not play a part in the music video that much. I also find the close-ups a bit unappealing to. I am not sure why. I know they are displayed to be ugly to say that all princesses are not pretty and some can be ugly, but they still look good. The video do match the lyrics. To be honest the music video is really confusing. Cause at the end Jubi or someone was actually impersonating the “prince” and then they also destroy the letter A. I think the most creative part of the music video was this part:

I’m not sure what this scene actually means. But I guess they are trying to say that to be a “princess” you must be perfect, which nobody is so therefore “prince charming” will not come and you are not a “princess”. Get That?

Live Performance.

This dance must be the hardiest dance out of the latest songs they have produced. I don’t know why, but I found it hard to follow the dance.It was much more energetic and really matches the beat. I am not sure if it matches the song but it is pretty good. I really like their new image in the live performance. This song is really serious but playful at the same time. It seems like for once, the singers are having funny dancing to their own song.

And The Rating?

Sunny Hill can do better, but this song is pretty good as well. 8.6/10.

This must be their best song in my point of view. I really loved this song and for some reason, I think it continues the robot theme from their last song. I really enjoyed this song, from the beats to the catchy lyrics. I think LEDApple is so underrated even though they come out with songs every 3 months. I really like the English in this song. It makes sense and is very good. I really like the raps. Might as well I say the whole song is really good.

They should be known more. They are so underrated.

Okay, must say. This is how people should use effects in music video. Not need to Photoshop anything in this video.

Okay, so the plot in the music video is kind of confusing (without knowing the lyrics of course). Its about this girl who is a wind-up toy and this guy (or guys) love her. This guy (or guys) are saying that you time is up because your gears will stop working. Yeah, that does not make sense because he is being rude to her even though he loved her. Anyway, when the key at the back stopped, she did not want it to stop but to keep on going to she could be with the guy. Though the key stopped moving for a long peorid of time, she kept moving which means

1. She, after the screen went back, keeps on moving, whcih means she is not a wind up toy. OR

2. After the screen went black, she stopped moving forever and her “Time Was Up”.

Also, is that guy using a touch screen for his guitar? Well, I don’t really care, even though for some time I was staring at his guitar and wondering “Technology is growing a little too fast”.

Live Performance

There is actual no dance to this song. Even though they are doing the hand movements when they are singing “Time’s Up, ooooo~”, and head-banging, I really would not consider them as dances, but since there is no dance, they shall be the dance. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. In my point of view of course.

And The Rating?

8.6 out of 10. Again, they are so underrated.

Alive – Jun.K

Wow, this is a style that  would never had expected from 2PM’s Junsu. From what I understand he is just the vocal person in the group but to hear him rap and sing what I understand to be Hip Hop kind of scares me. I quite surprised that he even can rap because I am just used to hearing him sing not rap.

Anyway, I really like this song. It is “ALIVE”. The vocals in the bridge, the rap and the hip hop beat is definitely cool. The whole song was the highlight for me. I just can’t pick between a certain section over another. His English in the song is really good. I find it much better in this song than in his previous song as he has this Engrish pronunciation. In this song, there is no English pronunciation.

I thought there was a music video for this. I want a music video for this. There was news that he was mean to have a music video but currently we are all waiting. JYP do not become like SM , don’t make us wait. Turns out the music video for this song just happens to be what they filmed at 2PM’s concert (if I am not mistaken). That sucks.

Live Performance

Okay, yeah. Lost for words. Its not a good performance since it is a music video as well, but it is not also a bad music video. I do like the start where they are all dressed up in these ghostly figures and then Junsu turns around a few times and then he is like in his full suit wear. Yep, got to love stage effects. I also like the long line of fireworks.It is pretty cool.

And The Rating?

8.5 out of 10. Nice song. Still awaiting an actual music video, one that is not filmed during a live performance.

Alone – Sistar

I am not a fan of Sistar. I do like their song How Dare You. So Cool was kind of trashy. This song, I am lost for words. I literally can not write at all anything about this song. I like the start of the song and the vocals but what I was looking forward to was another upbeat song like How Dare You or So Cool. This song kind of lacks the amount of a dance song which I wanted from them.

As I said the vocals are pretty good. Dasom and Hyorin sound pretty good. The other member and the rapper (Sorry about names, I suck) also sound pretty good. Yeah, I’m still not sure about the song. I do like th drum beat and piano in the song. They sound pretty cool.

Music Video

Okay. WOW. SEXY??? Yeah, Sistar is back with a whole new look. Now, they girls take sexy to the highest possible point without making it into some kind of bad looking video. Which I am pretty cool with. I actually think the camera man and director captured some good shots within Las Vegas, Nevada to be included into the video. I really like when the girls are posing on the table. Okay, maybe not. Lying on the table is just the worst thing you can do. I would’ve flipped out if I saw someone lying on my dining room table. I would care more about the table then the person lying on top.

I do like the tight dresses that they are wearing in the music video. They always dress pretty good.

Okay. Another WOW. I just really like the whole sexy concept they have with this comeback. It is just so cool and different from everything else we have seen.

And The Rating?

Okay seriously, I would give this song a 7.6 out of 10.

Lovey Dovey (Zombie Ver.) – T-Ara

Song

Yes, shuffling songs are epic. Yes, Shuffling is epic. Therefore this song is epic. However, there is one big part of the song which I do not like. I HATE THE CHORUS. Lovey Dovey is not a thing to repeat. Especially when this is a really upbeat song. Yes, I am not a fan of T-Ara, however Lovey Dovey does not sound good. It is quite annoying, in my point of view. It is like the next “Friday” (Just not that auto-tuned). Yet again, T-Ara disappoints me with another song.

Music Video

Must I say something. Don’t T-Ara know better than to sing but actually run. Like seriously, they are all dancing to thier new song with ZOMBIES is front of them the whole time. Don’t they realize, that was their cue to leave? Don’t they know ZOMBIES eat human brains? What kind of human beings are they? Unless they want to become the heroes of the day and they just completely fail. When the ZOMBIES actually destory thew fence and eat the guards brain, T-Ara finally relizes that they are screwed. No joking.

Also I learnt another thing from this video. After eating. ZOMBIES like to dance. Yes, after eating T-Ara’s brains, they all start to dance to Lovey Dovey. I wonder if they prefer dubstep or slower music?

Live Performance

I really love the circle part of the dance where they are all in the circle shuffling around. The shuffle with the words Lovey Dovey  felt really weird. I love the hand movements and to me the song sounds a lot like Roly Poly in live performance rather than in the actual full song as well. I also don’t get the hair-hand shake movement of the dance. Is that really a hot thing right now?

And The Rating?

The song and live performance was good. The music video was better. 7/10 is the rating I would give it.

Volume Up – 4 Minute

Song

This is a great song. I don’t really like 4 Minute that much. I am not a fan and do not like any of their song. I find most of their song awkward or not appealing. This song on the other hand is much different. I love it and am totally digging it. It has that Spanish feel to it that we got in Mona Lisa with the accordions and now this song has some instrument which I unfortunately can’t identify. Yeah, me and music theory don’t go well together, but I still passed class  by playing “Ode To Joy” and an Elvis Presley song. The rap in the song is the most concerning part of the whole song for me. I am actually in the middle with the rap. Half of me says the rap should not have been included in the song while the other half my body is saying the rap was pretty good and did fit in. Yes, I feel quite weird. I also heard the song is actually quite controversial because of its lyrics suggesting that girl groups are becoming more sexier and are losing their main job of becoming singers but instead as sexy models. I am quite disappointed about this because 4 Minute is actually telling the truth. Many girl bands nowdays are losing the singing factor and instead are becoming really inappropriate singers/dancers to watch.

Music Video

The music video actually adds a different style to the many videos of KPOP. This song is nothing about sexy dances (There are sexy dances in this song however they are not focused on that much in here). The song is much more myertious, like Brown Eyed Girl’s Cleansing Cream or Sixth Sense. There is so much here. Take their setting. They are like in these places which may or may not creep you out and give the sense that not that much people enter these areas, so we can say that the girls are like some where trapped. The mysterious vibe is added onto by the creepy looking vampires that happen to appear behind them just before the first chorus breaks out. Wait, are they really vampires or DEATH EATERS? KPOP and Harry Potter have finally intercepted each other. LOL. I can now go and reread Deathly Hallows for the 15000000000000000 time. The only thing I have to complain about in this video is the very start. Hyuna is possessed in the music video. Yeah, beside showing us she is a vampire, there is not much to say. Oh and if Cube Entertainment was trying to scare their viewers, they failed. My experiences so you can’t comment here.

Live Performance

Okay, yeah. This song changed nothing with my point of view on 4 Minute singing live. They just can’t do it. Beside that, the dance is pretty cool. I like it a lot. Most favourite part is actually when 4 of the members are circling the fifth member and pointing at her. Also when Hyuna raps and they all put thier hands up was pretty good as well. WHY CAN”T DANCES BE THIS SIMPLE? THEY LOOK COOL AND AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

And The Rating?

I would give this song an 8 out of 10. A Really Good Song.
