[Weekly KPOP Chart] 2nd Week of April 2022

I am back after my short Easter break, and now I turn my attention back to the blog. Before I can proceed with any further reviews, I want to knock out the usual Weekly KPOP Charts, so here we are today. As this is a late post, I am going to make this introduction short and get right to content, just so I can smash out one review later tonight. So without any further delays, here is the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 2nd Week of April 2022.

New releases of the Week

In addition to the three reviews I did write this week (EPEX’s Anthem of Teen Spirit, Kwon ONEW’s Glitch and Dreamcatcher’s MAISON), here are the other new releases from this past week:

  • Spring Day – Han Hye Ri
  • Cupid – DKZ
  • ZOOM – Jessi
  • LA LA POP! – Ha Sung Woon
  • RE=LOAD – JUST B
  • Love Theory – Taeyong (NCT) & Wonstein
  • NO NAME – Yezi
  • Darl+ing – SEVENTEEN

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is Jackson Wang’s Blow, which placed in 24th position for this past week. Blow is Jackson Wang’s latest solo release, which officially dropped at the end of March 2022.

The Charts

Congratulations to GHOST9 for topping the Weekly KPOP Chart for the 2nd Week of April 2022 with their latest single, X-Ray. This is the first time GHOST9 has topped the Weekly KPOP Charts segment on my blog! For more of the charts, keep on reading.

Songs leaving the charts this week

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 1st Week of April 2022

Another week, another Weekly KPOP Chart post. This time, it is for the 1st Week of April 2022. Unfortunately, I was unable to deliver the Queendom 2 posts that I had intended to write up over last week and this weekend. They will becoming next weekend, as I will be writing them in the week (I have some time off from work due to the Easter long weekend). In the meanwhile, I will be writing album reviews for posting later today. Also got to write album reviews for next weekend, as well. Lot’s to do, so I better get cracking. Here are the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 1st Week of April 2022.

In addition to the four reviews I did write this week (SUHO’s Grey Suit, Kwon Eun Bi’s Glitch, BIGBANG’s long awaited comeback Still Life and IVE’s LOVE DIVE), here are the other new releases from this past week:

  • Revelations – W24
  • J♡B = LOVE – W24

  • Oh-eh – DAYBREAK & LUCY

Throwback Corner

This week’s Throwback Song is actually a recent release from earlier this year. fromis_9’s DM has re-emerged onto my YouTube feed via the live performance the group gave on the it’s live live show, and it is hard to turn down such a good song/performance. That high note, as well! Top notch!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is Red Velvet’s WILDSIDE, which placed in eighth position for this past week. WILDSIDE is Red Velvet’s latest Japanese title track off the group’s first Japanese studio album, Bloom, which officially dropped earlier this week.

The Charts

Congratulations to Stray Kids for topping the Weekly KPOP Chart for the 1st Week of April 2022 with their latest single, MANIAC. Stray Kids and MANIAC previously topped the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 4th Week of March 2022. For more of the charts, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 5th Week of March 2022

We have just passed the end of March / early April mark of the calendar. How crazy fast is the year going? Welcome to another edition of the Weekly KPOP Charts, this time it is for the fifth week of March 2022 which spans that ‘end of March / early April’ period I just mentioned. It was a super big week for me, as I had to return to the office. That threw my week off, as it caused a bit of disruption on the review front (i.e. fatigue and a day of illness). I am hoping to get back into the groove a bit better this coming week, which will allow me to re-focus on the reviews. More song reviews, album reviews and I am hoping to make a start on a Queendom 2 recap & thoughts series. I am hoping to get Round 0 posted early this week, and Round 1 early next week. But we will see, pending how I settle into this week. Until then, here are the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 5th Week of March 2022.

New releases of the Week

In addition to NCT DREAM’s Glitch Mode, Oh My Girl’s Real Love, BAE173’s JAWS and PURPLE KISS’ memeM, here are the other new releases from this past week:

  • FREEZE – Stray Kids
  • Lonely St. – Stray Kids
  • Salute – MAJORS
  • With – Han Dong Geun
  • Detox – Feeldog
  • Make Your Dream – Haebin
  • Mother – Heize
  • Parallel Universe – NINE.i
  • Riding – UV & Choi Siwon (Super Junior)
  • Event Horizon – Younha
  • Blow – Jackson Wang (GOT7)
  • The Answer – DAYBREAK & LUCY
  • Ascension – Kingdom
  • Take You Down – Yugyeom (GOT7) ft. Coogie
  • WILDSIDE – Red Velvet

Throwback Corner

I managed to listen to more songs than what is on the Weekly KPOP Charts this week. And so, there is a bit of a selection of songs that I can choose this week’s Throwback Song from. My pick is Lovelyz’s Wag-Zak, which was released back in 2018. I still find it a massive disappointment that Lovelyz disbanded, though it is great that we are slowly seeing the members re-appear.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is Mark Tuan’s Lonely, which placed in fourth position for this past week. This release will be covered in a future International Song Review segment (once I figure out a way to deal with the backlog).

The Charts

Congratulations to Oh My Girl for topping the Weekly KPOP Chart for the 5th Week of March 2022 with their latest single, Real Love. For more of the charts, keep on reading!

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 4th Week of March 2022

Another week has passed. Another Weekly KPOP Chart post, this time for the 4th Week of March 2022. Today’s introduction is going to be a quick one, as I flagged yesterday I had two album reviews to right. And I haven’t really started on those yet, so I better get a move on. So without any further delays, here is the next instalment in the Weekly KPOP Charts post.

In addition to HIGHLIGHT’s DAYDREAM, Red Velvet’s Feel My Rhythm, CRAVITY’s Adrenaline and VERIVERY’s O, here are the other new releases from this past week:

Throwback Corner

I didn’t listen to any songs this week, aside those on the Weekly KPOP Charts. But the segment lives on. So the song to feature in this corner this week is (G)I-DLE’s LATATA, which I noted to be a consistent song to pop up alongside DUMDi DUMDi last week, thanks to (G)I-DLE’s latest comeback.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is, once again, Pity Party by JAMIE. It was previously was featured in this corner of the Weekly KPOP Chart post for the 1st Week of March 2022.

The Charts

Congratulations to Stray Kids for topping the Weekly KPOP Chart for the 4th Week of March 2022 with their latest single, MANIAC. For more of the charts, keep on reading!

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 3rd Week of March 2022

What a week it has a been for the 3rd Week of March this year. It was loaded with comeback after comeback. Hopefully, we all walked away with a few good songs to add to our playlists! Unfortunately, I had a big going on for work this week as well, so I was unable to cover all the major releases of the week. Hence, I have cleared album reviews from this weekend, so the focus today will be on song reviews (as was yesterday). Good news is that all that work related stuff is out of the way (I think – it was all a blur), so I should be able to push through the busy week ahead and week after as well. But before we can get ahead, it is time for the Weekly KPOP Charts post for the past week.

New releases of the Week

As flagged already, a few song reviews for some tracks released during this past week are still coming your way, joining (G)I-DLE’s TOMBOY, Brave Girls’ Thank You, Kang Seung Yoon’s BORN TO LOVE YOU, Kihyun’s VOYAGER, Moonbin & Sanha’s WHO and NU’EST’s Again. Here are the other songs that were released this past week:

  • Ghost – COiBLEN ft. Re:Dickens
  • Epitaph – for the future – TVXQ
  • HONEY – Solar (Mamamoo)
  • Too Bad – WEi
  • HANA – XIA
  • Hai Cheng – THE 8 (SEVENTEEN)
  • MANIAC – Stray Kids
  • Windy Day – BIGONE ft. JAY B (GOT7)

Throwback Corner

This week’s song to be featured in the Throwback Corner is (G)I-DLE’s DUMDi DUMDi, one of the group’s releases from 2020. This was consistent recommendation alongside LATATA this week, thanks to (G)I-DLE’s comeback! Definitely nice to revisit a fun song!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is Ailee’s Murder on the Dance Floor, which ranked in the 10th position this past week. Murder on The Dance Floor is the title track off Ailee’s first full-English album, I’m Lovin’ Amy, which dropped on 7 March 2022.

The Charts

Congratulations to (G)I-DLE for topping my Weekly KPOP Chart with their latest single, TOMBOY. For more of the charts from the last week, keep on reading!

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 2nd Week of March 2022

Another week has just passed, and it is time for another Weekly KPOP Chart post. Also check out T1419’s latest release, Our Teen:Blue Side, the group’s first mini-album and Japanese debut mini-album, which was released this week.

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 1st Week of March 2022

Before I get to the next album review, it is time for another Weekly KPOP Chart post. This one is for the week that just past – the 1st Week of March 2022. There were some big releases during the week. But apart from those, it was a fairly quiet start to the busy month ahead. It appears that next week will also be a quiet week, before KPOP ramps everything up for the latter half of March. But as always, there is a still a bit more to cover in the meantime.

New releases of the Week

In addition to the songs that I have reviewed this week (Rocket Punch’s CHIQUITA, Super Junior’s Callin’, Cherry Bullet’s Love In Space and TEMPEST’s Bad News), we also saw the following releases drop this past week:

  • Rollin – VANNER
  • Pinky Swear – CIX
  • UP – Bang Yong Guk
  • The 8th Spring – Hong Eunjin
  • Want You Back – ONE.KI
  • made in U – Yeo Eun

Throwback Corner

This week’s song to be featured in the Throwback Corner is one I probably have already featured in the corner (I believe). Brown Eyed Girl’s Sixth Sense made a reappearance on my radar. And per usual, I cannot pass the opportunity to listen to song again, given that it is one of my favourites of all time.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is JAMIE’s Pity Party, which ranked in the 3rd position this past week. Check it out below!

The Charts

Congratulations to Cherry Bullet for topping my Weekly KPOP Chart with their comeback single, Love In Space. For more of the charts from the last week, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 4th Week of February 2022

It is Sunday. And per usual, I reserve part of my Sunday for most weeks to put together the Weekly KPOP Charts before pushing on with album reviews (or any reviews I had planned to write up). Like last week, I want to make this introduction a fairly quick one, so I can move onto those album reviews I had planned to write up (and complete some other errands). So without any more delays, let’s get to to the Weekly KPOP Chart post for the final week of February 2021.

New releases of the Week

  • EASIER – Amber Liu ft. Jackson Wang (GOT7)
  • IDK – Tyrone Laurent ft. Min (Miss A)
  • Fade Away – Solji (EXID)

Throwback Corner

2NE1 was on my mind this week, and while listening to a playlist of 2NE1 songs, Do You Love Me stuck out at me. I remember people not liking the song as much, but I was pretty much a fan of the track since its release, so it was nice to ‘rediscover’ the song. I admit it isn’t their most famous track, but it isn’t as bad as some make it out to be!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is U-KNOW YUNHO’s KIMI WA SAKI E IKU, which translates to You Go Ahead. It was released early February and is featured on Yunho’s second Japanese mini-album that shares the same name. Check it out below!

The Charts

Congratulations to TREASURE for rising to the top spot of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart with their long awaited comeback, JIKJIN. For more of the charts from the last week, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 3rd Week of February 2022

Another week has passed, so here is the Week KPOP Charts for the week that had just passed – the 3rd Week of February 2022. Per usual, I am surprised at how fast time is flying by already. Blink again and we will be at the end of the month. Anyhow, I am going to make this introduction a quick one this week, as I still got to write up two album reviews (the last of the 2021 albums, before I can make a start on that ever-growing list of 2022 albums).

New releases of the Week

On top of this week’s new releases that did get a review (i.e. Taeyeon’s INVU, APINK’s Dilemma, TREASURE’s JIKJIN and WONHO’s EYE ON YOU), we also saw the following releases drop:

  • Gray So Gray – Epik High ft. Younha
  • MOODY BLUES – LXX
  • Heart Rider – Rocking Doll
  • don’t forget me – Kim Jeong Uk
  • Lovender – Han Seungyun
  • Satellite – Bae Suzy

Throwback Corner

This week’s throwback song belongs to WJSN and is actually their single from last year, Unnatural. I am not sure if a song released less than a year ago can be considered a throwback song. But it was the song that I was listening to over the last few weeks that didn’t make the cut for this segment yet, so here it is!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is T1419’s Daydreamer, which officially dropped at the end of last month. As far as I am concerned, there was no music video for this release (and hence it won’t be getting a review), but I did list it as a single and so deemed it eligible for the Weekly KPOP Charts. Anyhow, check it out below!

The Charts

Congratulations to APINK for rising to the top spot of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart with their long awaited newest single, Dilemma. For more of the charts from the last week, keep on reading!

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 2nd Week of February 2022

As flagged in last week’s Weekly KPOP Chart post, the week that just past ended up being a slightly busier week than the one that preceded it! And the next week is looking to be busier with some big name acts returning, including APINK, TREASURE, Taeyeon (SNSD) WONHO and former MISS A member Suzy confirmed for releases this week. And as usual, before I can proceed with any review in the new week, here is the Weekly KPOP Chart for this past week – 2nd Week of February 2022.

New releases of the Week

On top of this week’s new releases that did get a review (i.e. WONPIL’s Voiceless, VIVIZ’s BOP BOP!, Ha Sung Woon’s Can’t Live Without You and Moonbin & Sanha’s Ghost Town), we also saw the following releases drop:

  • Delight – Rolling Quartz
  • Love Message – Parc Jae Jung

Throwback Corner

This week’s throwback corner song is Girl Next Door’s Deep Blue Eyes, a project single from 2017 from the TV show, Idol Drama Operation Team. The project single features Mamamoo’s Moonbyul, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Nature’s Kim So Hee, former Sonamoo member D.ana, Oh My Girl’s YooA, former Lovelyz member Sujeong and now-solo artist Jeon Somi.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is Jeon Somi’s all-English side track single, Anymore, from her first studio album, XOXO. A music video was released for this single at the end of last year.

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 1st Week of February 2022

The week that has just passed was a very quiet week in the KPOP industry due to Lunar New Year holidays. With that major holiday out of the way now, next week is shaping to be a a slightly busier week with comebacks confirmed already! But as usual, I need to post this Weekly KPOP Chart segment for the past week before we can progress onto the new week.

Despite it being a quiet week, I managed to write a few reviews for some releases over the last two months that I should have reviewed when they were first released. I am hoping the few I did write reviews for helped make a dent in the backlog, but I haven’t checked to be sure. But make sure you check out those reviews on my home page when you have the time!

New releases of the Week

In addition to Mark (from NCT)’s Child, here are the other releases of the week:

  • Don’t Stop – ATEEZ
  • Stuck On You – Changjo (Teen Top) ft. Xbf
  • Pity Party – Jamie
  • Will Be Fine – Kisu

Throwback Corner

This week’s throwback corner song was actually featured a few week’s back in this segment. It is Dream Catcher’s Scream, which I have been revisiting constantly in the weeks following its inclusion in this corner of the blog.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is WOOZI’s mixtape single, Ruby, which was released early January. I am glad that I finally am able to feature this song in this corner since the change in the rules (i.e. highest rank song on the album). It is a good one! More on Ruby in the future!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 4th Week of January 2022

Hey all! Welcome to another Weekly KPOP Chart post – this time for the 4th and final week of January 2022. It was a slightly busy week for the blog, with the announcement of winners for the 2021 KPOPREVIEWED Awards and some reviews for some new ‘fresh off the press’ releases and some one week old releases. Check out the links to the 2021 KPORPEVIEWED Awards winner post if you haven’t by clicking the hyperlink in the previous sentence, or any of the newly published reviews down below!

This week is Lunar New Year and so the KPOP will be slowing down its releases for this week (you might notice that some of the weekly South Korean music shows have cancelled their show for this week) as everyone is going home to be with family in Korea. As such, I am hoping to use this week as an opportunity to catch up. Before that however, I just want to wish you all a new year full of happiness, luck and prosperity. Happy Lunar New Year!

New releases of the Week

In addition to PENTAGON’s Feelin’ Like and Wanna One’s special reunion single Beautiful (Part 3), here are the other releases of the week:

  • Love Affair – Niel (TEEN TOP)
  • Rica Rica – NATURE
  • loop – Kim Jeong Uk
  • Because – ASH ISLAND
  • Love Story – Kyuhyun (Super Junior)
  • Plus n Minus – Yein
  • A WOO!! – Golden Child
  • SUNSET WITH YOU – Def. (JAY B – GOT7)
  • Luxury – Boun
  • Mother Nature – IU & Kang Seungwon
  • WooAh HIP – MAMADOL
  • Pieces of Stars Shining on You – TRIPTOPS
  • Daydreamer – T1419

Throwback Corner

This week’s throwback corner song is ASTRO’s All Night, which has been a past single that I have been revisiting a lot in the past week (along with the rest of the group’s lead singles). This track is still one of their best to date!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song this week is Golden Child’s Japanese debut single, A WOO!!, which was released earlier this week. Me being a fan of Golden Child’s more recent work has me curious on what their Japanese work will be like. More detailed thoughts on their debut will be coming in the following weeks.

The Charts

Congratulations to PENTAGON for taking the top spot of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart with their latest comeback single, Feelin’ Like! For more of the charts, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 3rd Week of January 2022

Another week has past. And before I can make a start on the reviews for this new week (plus catch up on all the songs that were not released on Monday from last week), I must have a quick lookback on the past week with the Weekly KPOP Charts segment – this one is for the 3rd Week of January 2022.

You may have noticed that I didn’t post anything over this past weekend. That was because I was busy putting together the finishing touches on the 2021 KPOPREVIEWED Awards announcement post that WILL BE posted tomorrow! And once that goes live tomorrow, I will be able to focus on those reviews and album reviews that I have neglected. But per usual, before I can get to those reviews, here is the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 3rd Week of January 2022.

New releases of the Week

In addition to Wheein’s Make Me Happy, AB6IX’s 1, 2, 3, YENA’s SMILEY, DRIPPIN’s Villain, fromis_9’s DM, JinJin & Rocky’s Just Breath and Taeyeon’s Can’t Control Myself, here are the other releases of the week:

  • TOO MUCH – JIN JUNWOO
  • Slow Mo – BamBam (GOT7)
  • Chronograph – VICTON
  • Play – Yuju
  • I Can’t Do Anything About It – Hwanhee (Fly To The Sky)
  • Now I – Kim Kyu Jong (SS501)
  • LUNATIC – Moonbyul (Mamamoo)
  • All Eyes Down – LUMINOUS
  • Hold Me Again – Sunny Hill
  • LIE – BM (KARD)
  • My Life – Mark Tuan (GOT7)

Throwback Corner

This week’s throwback corner song is Dream Catcher’s Scream, which I had been revisiting a few times over the last week (and also today!). Such a cool rock dance track!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

The highest ranking non-Korean song is NIK’s ANOTOKIE (which ranks in the 11th position this week).

The Charts

Congratulations to YENA for taking the top spot of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart with her debut single, SMILEY! It definitely made my week and smile a lot more! For more of the charts, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 2nd Week of January 2022

Welcome all to the next Weekly KPOP Chart post of the year – for the 2nd Week of January 2022! It was another big week with a lot of new releases (as you can see from the list below). And it has been a busy weekend thus far. I know I made promises for a certain album review earlier in the week, but I will be shifting my focus onto completing preparations of the 2021 KPOPREVIEWED Awards and End of Year Charts, as I am very near to finishing them. I am hoping to announce the winners out sometime at the end of the week or the upcoming weekend. Once I have finalize them, the album review will be my next focus. Until then (and the other reviews I will be writing this week), here are the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 2nd Week of January 2022.

New releases of the Week

In addition to ENHYPEN’s Blessed-Cursed, Kim Yo Han’s DESSERT, MIRAE’s Marvelous, Max Changmin’s Fever, Maniac and Devil, and OnlyOneOf’s skinz, here are the other releases of the week:

  • DEADLINE – ZELO
  • Cinderella – D-ART
  • Road in the Light – SWAN (CRAXY)
  • Layin’ Low – Hyolyn ft. Jooyoung
  • Slow Dance – Kangta
  • Adrenaline – KOM (N.O.M)
  • You, Me = Us – LUHA & Go Hyeon
  • Yummy Yummy Love – Momoland & Natti Natasha

Throwback corner

This week’s throwback song is Fiestar’s You’re Pitiful. It came up on my YouTube suggestions, and I just clicked. Then I got into a Fiestar festival.

Non-Korean Release of the Week

As mentioned last week, I will still be featuring a non-Korean release in the Weekly KPOP Charts post, which would most likely be the highest ranking song of the week. For this week, the highest ranking non-Korean song is Amber Liu’s Don’t Dance (which ranks in the 43rd position).

The Charts

Congratulations to ENHYPEN for taking the top spot of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart with their latest track, Blessed-Cursed, which was released earlier this week. For more of the charts, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 1st Week of January 2022

Welcome all to the first Weekly KPOP Chart post for the 1st Week of January 2022! And it already a big week, given the massive list of new releases down below! Just looking at the list has me tired. I will work on the reviews for those releases in the coming week, as I am focused on finalizing the results for the 2021 KPOPREVIEWED Awards, which I am hoping to get out before the end of the month. Lots to do there, so I will move onto the other big news of this post.

For the 1st Week of January 2022 (this Weekly KPOP Charts), I will be now including non-Korean language songs in the Weekly KPOP Charts! This is due to the fact due to the rise in non-Korean language songs in the last year thanks to KPOP artists now branching out into the JPOP, CPOP and Western pop industries. The same rules apply as other releases already accepted – the songs must be by a Korean artist (or former Korean-related act) and must be a lead single (usually indicated by the release of a music video, though I will admit the boundaries for this particular criterion are blurred nowadays). A short list of songs over the last nine weeks have been entered into the chart system and are shown below.

New releases of the Week

The first official week of 2022 was loaded with new releases including Kep1er’s WA DA DA, ONEWE’s Universe_, UP10TION’s Crazy About You, P1Harmony’s Do It Like This and loads more:

  • Frozen – Taehwan (VANNER)
  • Runaway – 1iL
  • BOBBIN’ – BLITZERS
  • Fever – Max Changmin (TVXQ)

Throwback corner

In light of the news that IMFACT has left their former company, Star Empire Entertainment, I revisited some of their past tracks this week. I may have also went down a trip down IMFACT memory lane as I was under the impression the group had disbanded (which is not the case, they just simply left their company). My pick from their discography is Lollipop!

Non-Korean Release of the Week

Even though I will be adding non-Korean releases by Korean artists (or KPOP-related artists), I do not see them rising to the top of the charts. So I will continue to highlight a release (most likely the highest ranked one, or a new release from the week). For this week, MONSTA X’s latest English title track, You Problem, is my pick for this corner.

The Charts

Congratulations to Kep1er for debuting at the very top of KPOPREVIEWED’s Weekly KPOP Chart with their debut track, WA DA DA, which was released earlier this week. For more of the charts, keep on reading!

Songs leaving the charts this week

The following songs have left the charts this week as they have wrapped up their nine week run in the charts system:

[Weekly KPOP Chart] 5th Week of December 2021

As mentioned previously, I was unable to post any Weekly KPOP Charts for the final two weeks of December (and 2021 in general) as I was on break visiting family and friends. The break is now over and I am officially back reviewing (as you can tell from the slow release of song reviews over the last few days). However, I have taken some time away from the reviews to do the maths and post these charts (so that there is a bit of a separation between 2021 and 2022 Weekly KPOP Charts).

Anyhow, as this is a late post, I will get right into it! I present to you the Weekly KPOP Charts for the 5th Week of December 2021 (dates were 26 December 2021 – 1st January 2022) .
